Dream Weaver Install

Trying to install Dream Weaver on Win 11 running on a virtual Machine via Parallels Desktop with a M1 Max processor. Install fails with various Installer Corrupt or OS does not meet minimum requirements etc... Same install, same environment work fine on my MacBook Pro with the Intel i7 processor Any suggestions?

set default magnification of the Live View in split screen

Every time I open a different page from my site, the code view is too large to see the whole page while in Split View. Can I set a default view so I don't have to adjust the magnification every time I open a new page in Live View?

putting file after revision doesn't replace old version on server

If I edit and save the local version of a file and the use the Put icon to send the file to the remote server, it appears to go through the motions of sending the file to the host server. However, the old version on the remote server is not getting replaced by the new version and I am not presented with any dialogue telling me that the file already exists and asking me what to do. Is that caused by some setting I have wrong in Dreamweaver or should I contact the hosting site? The only workaround I've found is to go into File Manager on the remote cPanel and delete the old version of the file I've updated. Then, when I Put the new version, it gets saved correctly. This is a pain to do for every file I update, so I'd appreciate some guidance. Thanks.

Cannot turn off auto push on save or keep Code View as default in Dreamweaver 2021

If I only open one file at a time everything works as expected. But as soon as I open a second file (or more)  behavior changes.Files after the first open in Split Code-live view AND files upload to the testing server on open and on save and whenever Dreamweaver loses focus in Windows.Automatically upload and Automatically push are unchecked in the Server Settings in Site setup.I have reset preference in dreamweaver. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Dreamweaver. I have attempted to not sync settings from the cloud back to my computer. I have tried resetting the developer workspace, and I have tried creating my own workspace. Running Dreamweaver 21.2, 15523 Build.Windows 11 Pro, Version 21H2

Knowing only enough to be dangerous I need to keep things simple. Is there and extension with the bells and whistles more or less ready to go with minimum work, available to create an email form on a Dreamweaver site? Menu bar bug on Macbook pro M1 pro chip

There seems to be an issue with the menu bar when using dreamweaver on the new macs(currently on M1 pro 14inch MBP), other apps work fine(photoshop, illustrator, lightroom cc) but dropdown for menus often don't open, any fix for this issue or do I just have to wait for the next update?

Dreamweaver 2022 won't start has decided not to work anymore... the program starts but hangs on the start screen. MacOS Monterey 12.3.1 MacBook Pro Early 2015. I also used the adobe cleaner tool but nothing.

How do I place a logo and navbar in a header with a background image instead of color.

My header has a background image (1200px by 225 px) -- not a page background image. How do I place the logo and the navigation bar on the image, not above it? I have tried everything and searched everywhere. Logically, you would think you could change the color that coding expects to an image, but you can't -- or I couldn't. It must be a coding problem that I haven't figured out. I did it in Muse, but I can't in Dreamweaver. I want it to look like this. Can you please help me? Thank you,Margaret

Area maps interfere with editing.

I have created area maps that enable a user to move to next or previous photo by clicking on map. It works fine, however Dreamweaver insert a transparent copy of the area over the image in the output in split view. This makes it difficult to edit in the Design window. Is there a way to hide the maps while editing?

Saving template.dwt to index.htm

When I save my template to index.htm,  The index coding for the index file should be grayed out and the header should not be editable.  That us not happening,  I have done this with 4 other templates in the past year and there are no problems.  I cannot see any differences in the header/index coding with what I am doing today.  Any suggestions?  Oh he maximenu2 is OK.

Disable Auto Quotes in Dreamweaver
