Hi, I'm on a mission to find a tool for converting my pen and paper UI prototypes to more "cleaner" versions. I found tons of different plugins for Photoshop and Mobile UI designing, but none for desktop application UI designing. More specific plugin should contain UI components for Java applications (windows look and feel or something). In the last job I used Photoshop where I had a set images of UI components which I copied to my UI design and then resized manually to correct size. It worked fine, but was a bit... unpleasant. So I'm looking for a easier way to do it. I need layers so I can do different views and UI panels on different layers etc. Resizing the components would be great and maybe even change the look and feel of all components from a menu.Should I create a new UI component image toolbox for Photoshop and do it the old way or is there a easier way to do it with one of the Adobe's CC tools?Cheers,- Antti

The past few weeks I have been trying to install Add-ons to several apps incl. Photoshop, Animate and After Effects and none of them work.I have the latest CC 2017 version installed. All sync preferences have been turned on.I had someone from Adobe customer service checking logging into my machine, and after spending 30 minutes on it, he suggested it was a permissions issues. I have checked with IT and I have full permission to install everything. I also have an external plugin in Photoshop that works perfectly, so it's the ones from the cloud service that doesn't work. Now I just tried again and got the following error on my Creative Cloud app:"The Add-on Additional animation presets for After Effects failed to install: Failed to validate the license online"It's the only error I ever got with all the trials I've had. Any help please??I'm on Windows 10.Thanks

Any ideas why my son's Lightroom mobile app does not appear to have an option to shoot DNG?
Hi there,Are there any plans for the Addon Exchange to be usable by users who don't have a standard Creative Cloud license, for instance those with Enterprise key-generated licenses?Even something which worked at the Admin level and applied Addons to all generated keys would be great. Thanks
HelloI have install extension builder -> \labs.adobe.com\technologies\extensionbuilder3\I followed the "Create Your Own HTML5 Extension In 5 Minutes".But I do not see my extension in photoshop cc2017 (creative cloud)This is my configuration
this is driving me nuts. I have an extension and it seems users have been having issues with it for a really long time now. I just submitted a new version - I've tested it many different ways; i've installed it via command line, and with anatasys extension manager and it works, I tried the installations on 3 different computers too. I upload the file and it shows up correctly, but then i try to download it and i get an old version with a corrupt license.i tried sharing it and it links to the old version. i've checked the xmi and the manifest file and everything checks out. i don't know how to trouble shoot this when the file works before i upload it and it stops working when it is out of my hands.
How long doest it take to get an extension submission approved by Adobe? It was submitted through https://www.adobeexchange.com/partners/My extension was submitted around 10 days ago, but I did not get any updated.
Do you have a new and interesting add-on? One worthy of a plug on our Social Media channels? If you have a relatively new add-on, or an add-on that has had significant updates lately, please provide the product link from the add-ons website and a bit of blurb/images to avetting@adobe.com with the title "Plug my add-on", and we will do our best to market the add-on for you.
I bought CC 2015 yesterday and also purchased the TK Panel v4 via the add on page. After installing the add on in the online manager and previously having installed the new the CC Desktop app version 2.1.3.121 (the newest as of yesterday), it simply does not appear in the extension menu. I already tried the troubleshooting pdf by Tony Kuyper sent me, but it didn't help. My guess is that something with my creative cloud app doesn't work - namely the sync. The other clue I'm having is that I might have had Photoshop open while I purchased the Panel and first installed it. However I would assume that a reinstall of Photoshop and the panel would resolve the problem. However it did not.
I'm experimenting with a CEP 6 Extension and stumbled about a general Design question which I would like to discuss here:## SetupMy basic idea is to provide the Frontend of the Extension from a CMS-System which is already in place and would only need to add a few buttons to work together with the future InDesign CEP Extension. In this frontend the user can pick items with a given ID, this ID is sent to CEP JavaScript Controller which handles JSX in InDesign and can talk to a REST-APi to get additional content.## Idea/ConceptFor the panel I load an index.html with the controller JS Code, the Frontend is loaded via <object>. <!doctype html> <html lang="en"> <head> <script src="js/main.js"></script> </head> <body> <div> <object type="text/html" data="http://external.link.com"> </object> </div> </body> </html> In the main.js there is a test() Fu
At the time of writing the 2.1.2.114 release of the Creative Cloud desktop application which supports the installation of CC 2015 Add-ons as well providing various fixes, had not had the automatic update released. However, it is available to download and install from the Web, here (just click the download button to begin the download). So if you want to start using Add-ons and have the very latest CC 2015 apps, here’s what to do:1. Check what version of the CC desktop app you have, (it’s like the one pictured above and lives in the top menu bar on a Mac and in the System tray on Windows). To check what version you have launch the CC desktop application and click the cog wheel in the top right hand corner and then click on Preferences as shown in the picture below:2. Check what version you have installed, if it’s 2.1.2.114 (as shown below) or later you already have what you need for CC 2015 Add-ons compatibility for the CC 2015 June release. If you have an earlier version, get the lates

1) I used to trap keydown events to create some shortcuts using javascript. Now all keydown events are directly passed to indesign. Is there any work around to get that back?2) If you now drag an indesign element, say textbox, the extension ui is replaced the the xml export of that element. How to disable that?
