Suggestions for improvement

I've been working quite a bit with Firefly, and I miss several things that I think could be very helpful.

  • History of prompts/images: Being web-based, there's currently no option to view what you've done previously. While a full history might not be optimal, having an option to save favorite configurations would be beneficial.

  • In the gallery option for selecting a reference image, the ones offered are good, but there should be neutral human figures in different poses to create characters with those postures.

  • There's no option to upload your own image and generate variants directly from that image.

  • When you select an image you like and want to edit on top of it, the insert option doesn't work well; it doesn't maintain the aesthetics you've previously created.

As a final question, will there be a downloadable application version of Firefly available soon?

Thank you, and I hope this feedback is useful! The interface has a lot of potential.

Hello @Javier27490582trpr,

Thanks for your feedback. I will touch on a few things you mentioned.

  • History of prompts/images: Being web-based, there's currently no option to view what you've done previously. While a full history might not be optimal, having an option to save favorite configurations would be beneficial.

This has been a frequent suggestion. I recommend you look at these posts and upvote the one(s) you would like to see:

History of text prompts

P: History of Previous Generated Images

  • There's no option to upload your own image and generate variants directly from that image.

Well, not sure your exact use case, but you can do this somewhat by using the image as both a style reference and structure reference at the same time. Also, generative fill can be used as well.  Have you tried these?

  • As a final question, will there be a downloadable application version of Firefly available soon?

I do not work for Adobe and do not have inside information on this issue, but I think it is not likely they will develop a Firefly app for iOS or Android. Since most of the processing is in the cloud, the app would just be a simple user interface. It is more cost effective to implement that in a browser app, than develop separate apps for iOS and Android.

My best,
