Variable Typography Support

A lot of fonts nowadays have a wide range of glyphs or are variable fonts. These are features which we use in indesign and illustrator a lot when working with text and it would be a lot of help if we could use it directly on after effects without having to export illustrator assets for every single line of text.

Please please please release variable font options

I've made several typefaces for my work and always have to go back and make a NON variable version to cater to after effects it would be great to have support for them as it would make editing with different sizes so much easier. There's already great support for them in photoshop and illustrator, I don't see why it wouldn't be added to the program by now.

As it stands now...AE does not recognize the font 'Source Sans Variable'. Would like for AE to be able to accept these types of fonts and utilize them in the program. Illustrator recognizes these fonts. I understand that I can do a text outline but if I have to change a word then I have to go back to illustrator and re-type the font and save it back out and re-import it. It would be better to be able to type the word in the variable font (ie Source Sans Variable).

For the love of God, at least give us a slider so we can typeset variable fonts in After Effects. At least give us a slider!!! I have fonts that I CAN'T EVEN USE in After Effects!
