Variable playback speed! Double Speed Is Too Fast

It's wild this isn't an option yet.

This should be a standard feature by now. It took years to get Punch'N Roll integrated and only after an outside programmer created the program as and plug-in and then graciously allowed Adobe to use his program for free. Do we have to do the same here? 1.1; 1.2; 1.3, etc., etc., should be available as alternates.

Also in Premiere Pro would playback speed be such a time saver! Please implement this ❤️

it's been 4 years since this basic request was made...

I'm completely agree with S SP: Need to have 1.1x, 1.2x, 1.3x, 1.4x, 1.5x in order to clean audio. We need to have many more options in between.

I cant believe this isn't a thing. Audition is simultaneously overkill for my podcast, and yet a simple feature like this is missing.

This is absolutely crucial, in my opinion. JKL editing especially should just allow you to go forward or backward in smaller increments than 2x. Usually I want somewhere around 1.5x, but anything in the 1x to 2x range should be available as options.

Same! I'm constantly editing Interviews and 2x is often just a little too fast to be useful.
