Render/Camera view settings

Might be an overly discussed topic but when will Adobe allow you to create a Render View Preset to bring the exact settings from one project to another so to get the exact type of render? This would be a helpful improvement.

Hey Cyril,

Thanks. I did recognize that, but it is quite inconvenient. It would make sense to add that function to Substance Painter as an option, within the display settings, to do quick rendering mock-ups.

Respectfully,

Izak

Hello @izak_777,

Currently, if you save a project as a Template

File > More save options > Save as Template

it will save the Camera FOV, Focal Lenght, environment map, environment rotation, etc.

However, if you're looking for more than that, we don't have many features dedicated to rendering and I advise you to switch for Substance Stager (considering we have a "send to" option) or a different rendering software. Painter's team is fully dedicated to texturing at the moment.

Best regards,
