Switch between my computers without having to sign out and sign in every time

The requirement to sign out and sign in every time I work from a different computer is really annoying.  I take photos for my business and depending on the time of day, need to edit them from my laptop, my office PC, my home PC, or a PC in our school's theater where the photos are taken.  I often end up using all four PC's in the same day, and each time I need to switch PC's I have to (1) sign into creative cloud, (2) enter the digits of my cell phone, (3) wait for the 2FA text and enter that code, (4) enter my password, and (5) select another device to sign out of.  What makes these even worse is that the sign-in is all or nothing; if I want to use Lightroom on one PC and Acrobat on another PC in the same day, under the same license, I need to sign in/out of the entire suite of software.  I am the ONLY person who ever uses my account, and find this to be a completely unneccesary and time-wasting hassle.  If Adobe knows which other devices are in use, why can't they simply allow up to say, five devices for the same user and enforce that no two devices are used at the same time?  Like with Microsoft Office365? I am posting this here because I've send several feedback reports to this effect with no response.

Apologies @musictraining, I misunderstood the issue in this thread. I'm checking with our identity services team to understand what's going on behind the scenes here.

i don't think there's much chance of this gaining traction at adobe, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

That's why I posted this topic two years ago, hoping they will listen to customer feedback and improve their product.

that would require more than an app update. it would require a culture change.

but the request is here so adobe can address it, if they choose.

Exactly.  I can install the software on any number of devices, then when I log into a workstation (using a stored password with no 2FA) it logs me right in to all related apps and I continue working seamlessly without interruption. This uses an industry standard cloud login called iLok.  It will not allow two simultaneous users. The same with Microsof Office. I have Office installed on at least six PC's and several mobile devices, and it simply follows me where I go.  The Adobe process of email+password+2FA+choosing devices to sign out is a big hindrance to workflow.

those others must not have a device limit.

Yes, but with only one active user at a time.  This is done routinely in other platforms that use cloud license activation such as ProTools (professional studio recording software).  I'm not sure how Microsoft Office handles this, but I can switch seamlessly between any number of workstations and devices and am never required to sign in, or worse to be asked which device I want to log off which is irellevant since they know which device I am using.

your idea is better stated as, allow unlimited concurrent sign-ins.

Right, and that's the entire problem.  Every other software vendor lets you switch between computers seamlessly. Every device is connected to the internet, so Adobe can easily ensure that there is no duplicate usage of the apps without making the workflow so difficult.
