Overview

We request that Adobe introduce comprehensive usage analytics across all Adobe cloud‑based applications in the Adobe Admin Console.

Currently, administrators can only view:

• Total licenses purchased
• Total licenses assigned

However, per Support Case E‑002086641, Adobe Support confirmed that tracking actual product usage or identifying which users actively utilize Adobe cloud applications is not currently possible.

Business Need

For enterprise environments, visibility into actual application usage is essential. Without this data, organizations cannot effectively:

• Optimize license allocation and control costs
• Measure adoption following product rollout
• Identify training, onboarding, and support gaps
• Inform renewal and budget planning
• Demonstrate product value and justify continued investment

The absence of usage metrics limits our ability to manage Adobe products responsibly and make data‑driven decisions about licensing and deployment.

Requested Enhancements

We are requesting that Adobe Engineering evaluate and prioritize the following capabilities:

1. Active Usage Metrics

• Number of active users per Adobe cloud‑based application
• Identification of unused or under‑utilized licenses

2. Engagement and Frequency Insights

• Daily, weekly, and monthly active user metrics
• Application launch or session frequency
• Ability to determine whether assigned users have accessed each application

3. Reporting & Export Functionality

• Exportable and API‑accessible usage data for integration with internal dashboards, analytics platforms, and governance workflows

Competitive Expectation

Other major cloud service providers within our technology ecosystem already provide detailed usage analytics as standard features in their administrative and reporting consoles.

To maintain consistent governance, reporting, and optimization practices across our cloud platforms, our leadership expects similar visibility from Adobe.

We respectfully request that Adobe Engineering prioritize this capability on the product roadmap, as it would significantly improve our ability to manage adoption, licensing efficiency, and the overall value of Adobe products.
