Feature Request: please, include Ukrainian as a language in future releases of Lightroom Classic

Hi,Lightroom has now reached extraordinary levels of post-production and archiving. As a photographer, my Photoshop workload has been reduced.One feature I'd appreciate is being able to select and then copy something from one photo and move it to another, thus having multiple layers directly from Lightroom.Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with your work photographically.Thanks and regards

With the addition of Content Credentials, Adobe has taken a first step toward allowing creators to make use of Content Authenticity Initiative features. I'd like to suggest a second.   While researching Content Credentials, I found that the CAI defines a fairly extensive set of assertions that can be added to images (see https://opensource.contentauthenticity.org/docs/manifest/assertions-actions/). One potentially interesting set are the "Do Not Train" assertions, such as c2pa.ai_training, c2pa.ai_generative_training and so on, which allow creators to specify whether they want their images to be used for various kinds of AI training and data mining or not.   Because of growing concerns about images being used to train generative AI, a lot of creators would probably welcome the ability to express their preferences and 'warn off' AI scrapers from misusing their work. Much as Lightroom allows us to attach copyright information to images (via IPTC), it would b

We use artificial intelligence to recognize people, but what if we used it to simply rotate images to the correct orientation?  I have decades of images shot on cameras that didn't automatically orient the images and find myself manually rotating thousands of photos.  It would be very useful to have a tool that could analyze the image content and present a batch of selected images with a suggested change of orientation.  I would then be able to simply confirm the suggestions, either one at a time, or in large batches.

Ignore update ai settings not available on Lightroom always forcing to update ai setting when it is not required or wanted.  For example if a remove tool edit is made on an area after an ai mask , then it generates the update ai  When copying/pasting any AI driven masks (Select Subject, Sky, Background, Objects, and People) and or by loading that image’s XMP sidecar file or preset / settings on the same image, the masks should not be  recomputed automatically or generate an update ai setting. 

LR displays the capture times for video from many cameras in UTC, rather than in local time of where the video was shot, which is obviously less useful to users. Though the original sin was a poorly written Quicktime/MP4 standard that is inconsistently obeyed by cameras, LR could handle the situation much better with a small amount of effort. The De Jure and De Facto Standards The Quicktime/MP4 standard specifies that the time in the Quicktime:CreateDate field is in UTC, not local time, and the standard doesn't provide for a time-zone field as EXIF does. However, prior to smart phones and GPS-connected devices, most cameras recorded local time in Quicktime:CreateDate, not UTC, and many cameras still do. But now, more cameras (but far from all) are following the standard. They fall into these categories: 1. Smart devices that connect and sync time with the Internet. These devices know both UTC and the local time zone. Apple devices obey the standard, writing UTC

Is there a method to better filter the files you want to import from a master folder? I'll post a screen grab of what I'm referring to to help explain, but here's my issue. If, when importing, I want to keep the master folder name as part of the import, some of my subfolders may have file types that I do NOT want to include, particularly video files.  The import dialog window shows a way to sort photos, but not a way to filter out file types.  And if I was to highlight the 60 video clips that it was ganging up with all my raw still image files, it doesn't allow me to just deselect those highlighted ones. All you can do is "check all" or "uncheck all".  The net effect of all this is that I end up doing imports on just subfolders only, which then do not show master foders above them. My use of similar subfolder naming therefore makes the folder panel of the Library module a confusing mess.

So I've opened an image in Photoshop and I want to make a specific size crop, let's say 2048x1365 pixels. I select the crop tool and proceed to make a crop. And as I move the handles, I get visual feedback of the height and width of the crop as I move, allowing me to make a precise crop Now let's try and do the same thing in Lightroom ClassicI have an image open in Lightroom Classic, and I want to do a specific size crop as I did in Photoshop: 2048x1365 pixels. So, I select the Crop tool in the Develop module and proceed with the crop tool, moving the handles; there is no visual feedback, and I can not make a precise crop, So the only way to see any image dimensions is to press the letter I on the keyboard, which brings up the info overlay so now I can see the dimensions of the image, but as soon as I start to crop the image, this information disappears, and I'm working blind again until I stop moving the crop tool handles, which means that I have to stop and start moving the crop tool

Add Face Recognition to People masking so that a mask for a certain person can be synchronized with other photos and the mask will only apply to that person in all the photos.As an example: I am editing the group photos from a wedding.  I make a change to the brides dress using a People/clothes mask.  I would like to apply that mask to all the group photos.  I can currently synchronize the mask to the set of group photos, but it will currently apply it to the first person it finds in the group.  I then have to go and “add” the bride(cloths) to the mask then remove the incorrect person mask.ideally I could identify the bride in the first edit then when the mask is synchronized, it would face-detect the bride in each photo and appropriately apply the mask to them. 

If you have a catalog with family photos spanning generations there is a real risk of you having more than one person with the same name. And unless one creates an endless amount of Parent > Child hierarchies the risk of ending up with two or more people inside the same Child drawer of the hierarchy with the same name is high. So far the only way I have found as a workaround is to give them numbers. For example John Smith #1 and John Smith #2. My suggestion is that when you place a keyword in the People category it is assigned a unique ID number, which allows you to create more than one identical People keyword inside the same hierarchy drawer as they will have different ID numbers. You’d also need a couple of more fields in the system to associate to the names, like the synonyms field already there. Maybe a small text field where one could write things like “Born 1949”?

Customizable keyboard shortcuts in Lightroom would be great. I just find it so confusing that crop and brush tools and things like that have such odd keyboard shortcuts in Lightroom. I understand that changing that all now would be awful for many existing users, but being able to override them like I can in Photoshop would be helpful. Doesn't anyone else out there find they use to wrong keyboard shortcuts in the wrong program?

Love the new feature for AI distractions of people and reflections.. Lets expand on that!!   As a wedding photographer I am constantly removing power lines, stop signs, or just signs in general, exit lights.. It would HUGE if these were added as additional AI options for distraction removal. Feels like it would be a fairly easy addition.    Posted a screenshot as an example.. AI generative fill defintely takes care of it no problem but would save time if we didn't need to manually select it. 

LRC - many workflows require saving and working in Tif format, why not open for using the excelent noisereduction function on those files?  

Please add the option to use variables / metadata in “put in subfolder” name, similar to how we can rename files using e.g. {folder name} {custom name}. I use lightroom to edit students ID pictures, so i organize each classes into their own folders. I then batch export all edited photos to a subfolder named “Edited” under each classes' folder,current setup:Class A  EditedClass B  Edited...Class Z  Edited After that I have to manually add the class name  »  “Class A - Edited” before I can send those folders to my printer…  it would be helpful if we can use the parent folder’s name (in this case the class name) as a variable to name the target subfolder 🙏

How to turn off display of milliseconds (capture time). Milliseconds are useless to me, but they clutter the grid view and make it impossible to quickly review capture time for long burst of bird photos when trying to determine when a burst ends and a new beginning. Just want to turn off the milliseconds and keep the seconds (as in the previous version)

These presets, unlike any currently available, would dynamically adjust to each image, informed by the user's historical editing patterns, ensuring consistency and quality across varied lighting and contextual scenarios. The integration of such advanced AI features would dramatically revolutionize the editing workflow, cutting down editing time and freeing photographers

Again, I ask that presets in Develop module be able to be sorted by the user.  Much like the way files etc can be sorted by the user according to their preference: alphabetically, put into subfolders, etc.  As it is, it is just a jumble and an unnecessary hassle to find things.  Why not make the process hassle-free?

When exporting files in a sequence, the MacOS finder puts things in alphanumeric order. The current export options start the sequence with filename-1.jpg. If it allowed zeros before the first nine digits, it’d help preserve the sequence in the MacOS (and probably Windows) finder. Even better: Allow the sequence number to start the file name, e.g.: 001-filename.jpg 

I am continually annoyed that Adobe products,  including Lightroom,  are popping up modal dialogs telling me about new features as soon as I start them.  This often distracts me from a task that I am doing under time pressure or other stress.I have attention issues,  and I need accomodation for this disability.  Every pop-up like this needs a checkbox that I can check on to make sure that I never get one ever again.

Hello, before this update happened, I could be in crop overlay and hit "F" for full screen to see if I liked the crop and centering then "F" again and it would stay on the crop overlay.  Now it reverts back to the Edit after I exit full screen.  How do I get this back so I'm not hitting "R" every time after?   Thank you.

I am working on scanning all our shoe boxes with photos, I am currently up to 9,184 images (still scanning more boxes). Since these are mostly family photos this seemed like a good project to try the People feature on. After spending multiple hours assigning names, I have 3,250 faces in the Confirmed collection and 10,733 remaining as Unnamed People. At this point (about 23%)  I seem to have reached the point where the face matching algorithm (Find Similar Faces) is producing mostly incorrect matches. I don't know how old the face matching algortithm is - I would hope that there is room for improvement. Thus, I would like to suggest that the algorithm for this be updated using the latest AI technology. Version of the app:13.2Platform and OS version: Windows 11 Pro - 23H2 Thanks, Adriaan Sachtler

I think this would be an enormous help for people who work with stock photo agencies. From what I read, most photographers already use this feature, but through third-party software. I should add that, unfortunately, I also use external software to caption my editorial photos. Why should I, when it would be no problem for you to integrate it?

The panel scroll bar and close panel bar arrow section are annoyingly close together. On a 4K monitor (and possibly lower resolutions) the panel scroll bar is so thin that it's easy to press the close button instead. This is frustrating when trying to select the appropriate tool and you just keep closing/unclosing the panels. Is it possible to either increase the size of the scroll bar, be able to lock the panel in place or a mix of the two. Cheers,
