Hey man I am about to purchase Samsung Book 4 was it already fixed? Can you install LrC there?

Thanks for the info @KSNelson . I heard that LRC could be installed in the US, but in Europe we don't even get the option via the Creative Cloud app.

I am now beyond frustration and into exasperation!

I am in the US and am running LrC on a Surface Pro 11 ARM64 machine.  For the most part, it works, and, as I understand it, it is in an emulation (Intel) mode.  However, the Slideshow Module does NOT work as the "Dynamic Link Media Server failed to launch."

Not a clue, but apparently not this month

@KSNelson: "the error message imndicating that the "Dynamic Link Media Server failed to launch" is due to this PC being an ARM64 device"

...but I'm still able to export the slideshow as PDF.

I will try that!

Thank you for letting me know about that.

I get the same error when I enter the Slideshow module on my LR 14.0.1 running on an ARM device.

It would be great if Adobe could be upfront about plans for this (outside of NA)

In the market to grab a new upgraded laptop. The lack of support for this is the only main thing dissuading me from going on ARM, as it is my most used application on my Windows machine.

Don't do it. Think of all your cataloguing. I foolishly bought one with
snapdragon chip. Luckily for me the laptop was faulty and I was able to
replace it with an Intel chip.

So back to lightroom classic. You can use lightroom cloud which is still
very good. But it is missing those crucial cataloguing elements.

If buying a new laptop I would avoid the new ARM ones as there are other
programs that won't work either like ON 1 and Topaz

heyyy,

When can I expect lightroom classic for my samsung galaxy book4?

I just bought it and I didn't know that this laptop doesn't support LC.

I already tried copying it from my other laptop on the new one but this doesn't work.

And I actually need it and also pay for it.....
