Lightroom CC on the Mac allows access to external storage devices. Adobe, please allow external storage device access for Lightroom on the iPad! That would make this the perfect mobile photo solution. Right now the only option is to import the files to the iPad photo ecosystem before they can be brought into Lightroom. I have many thousands of photos on external drives (many with camera raw edits) that I would like to access directly like I can on the Mac version.
The manual focus is an awesome feature since for some insane reason Apple decided to omit a manual focus even on the Pro model iPhones that are supposed to be for high end photo and video work. However, the green outlines in the manual focus mode in the Lightroom Camera capture are horrendous, distracting, and usually makes me shoot out of focus because the outlines don't do a good to help job dialing in focus. GIVE US THE ABILITY TO DISABLE THE GREEN OUTLINES PLEASE
For Lightroom (not classic) I would love the ability to create a smart album for any photos missing location information, so I can quickly identify photos that I must add location information too.
I would like to express my interest in the ability to create books using Lightroom Mobile on my iPad. However, I am not particularly satisfied with the Blurb app due to its limited layout options. It is inconvenient to constantly switch between apps or have to export photographs. Currently, I rely on Lightroom Classic on my M2 MacBook Pro for book creation. However, with the introduction of the iPad Pro M2, there is no longer a speed advantage to using the laptop. In situations where I am away from home and shooting, I rarely bring my MacBook along. It would be incredibly helpful to have the capability to start laying out my books during my return flight. I kindly request the addition of Blurb book creation to the Lightroom iOS version, particularly on the iPad. If you require inspiration, I recommend taking a look at the exceptional iOS version of the desktop publishing app, Publisher by Affinity.
Hello all, I would like to submit a feature request for lightroom > store offline option I want to save 2and 2+ starred photos on mycomputer you have "store a copy of all "* options for caching I want to limit this to 2 and + starts I am sure a lot of people would benefit from ruled based custom caching. Thanks, Onur
I am deeply passionate about Lightroom! Editing both my photos and videos in Lightroom is an incredible experience for me. I have no issues with photo editing, and I can use all the tools seamlessly. However, it really upsets me that some features are disabled when editing videos. In particular, I can’t use the masking tool, which is one of my favorite features. This tool makes a huge difference in my edits, and I would love to use it for my videos as well. Additionally, options like texture, clarity, and dehaze in the effects section are also inactive and unavailable for video editing. Is there a way to enable these features for videos on my iPad Pro M4? Moreover, is there any chance these features will be made available for video editing in the future? I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide information and share my feedback regarding this matter. Thank you. lightroom version v. 10.1.1
Hello, I'm using an iPad mini7. When I use the Lightroom in portrait mode, the picture looks so small that the work is so difficult. I hope I can see the picture on top like the phone version when I use it in portrait mode, and the work panel is set to the bottom. Please.
Many often times I find my Lightroom running slow or sluggish on network package sending and receiving… It appears stalled so then I noticed these other tabs involving other peoples work which I have no interest in seeing and you are forcing this into an application that is licensed primarily for professionals so do everyone a favor and remove this feature/horrible idea from the creative cloud ecosystem and just make another platform because it does not belong in side of light room
I am using the ARM version of Lightroom. When I shoot in JPEG + RAW on my camera, Lightroom imports both formats during the batch import. Since I only want to edit the RAW images, I end up deleting all the JPEG images after importing them. This process is time-consuming and cumbersome, so I would like to be able to select the image format to import when transferring images from the camera.
Hi all, The addition of a local tab in Lightroom cloud desktop has been a game changer, and led me to move away from Lightroom classic. I would love to see the addition of the local tab on Lightroom mobile, allowing browsing and editing of files on external disks attached to an iPad! Cheers!
Hi all! I use an iPad (Air 5th Gen) in my workflow during photo trips. Each day, I backup the card (CFX-B) from my camera (Nikon Z8) to an external SSD and then make an initial cull and selection of images for upload/edit using Lighroom. When I add photos to Lightroom (v 10.1.1) directly from the card or camera, the image previews are a reasonable size and I have the ability to pinch zoom the previews to see which is in focus or a good composition (see screenshots below). If I try to do this from the file structure on the SSD backup (if, for example, I did not have time to cull on the day and the card had been erased for the next day's shoot), then the "add photos from files" option in Lightroom only allows small previews and does not allow zooming of the images. This makes it impossible to check which image is best for culling and uploading! Can the preview/zoom functionality of the "add photos from card/camera" please be replicated in the "add photos from file" option? Thanks!
Hi,I would love it if I could make changes, then apply them to an existing "version". Basically overwriting what's saved as that version with the new edit.-MattPS - Your Feature Request and Bug Submission form page shows no form to fill out.https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
La función de "eliminar, debería ser un acceso directo junto a los menus principales de funciones de edición... Ya que eso ahorraría mucho tiempo, evitando los 5 pasos para poder eliminar una foto ~~~~~~~~ [Moderator: updated the title, and moved this to Ideas, where users can vote for this] "The "delete" function should be a shortcut next to the main editing function menus... As that would save a lot of time, avoiding the 5 steps to delete a photo"
Please add aux cameras support for the Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra. Without them the Lightroom camera doesn't make a lot of sense.
Knowing the cropped pixel dimensions of an image is valuable and fundamental info for making further editing and sizing decisions. Not having that information continues to plague the iPad version. It's a simple add of one line in the Info panel.
I currently dislike my solution to share images with my digital picture frames. (Download, to USB and insert USB into frame). Does anyone know of a good solution which is integrated with Lr as a built in connection?
Surprised there is no red eye removal (that I can find) in the new Lightroom CC. Am I just missing something?
When exporting a copy of a file from Lightroom (cloud-based, not classic) I'm only able to adjust the output with either "long-side pixel dimension" or the very ambiguous "quality %", but nearly every time I'm exporting anything other than 100% size and quality, it is because of a file size limitation on someone's upload portal or their required submission standards, so all I'm really intersted in when exporting in this way is file size in MP. I would LOVE to be able to dial up or down the export file size (not dimension, but MP size), and just have the corresponding pixel dimensions go up or down accordingly (with fixed proportions of course), so that if a site requires a file that is under 5MP, and I want to get as close to that limit as I can while not exceeding it, I can just move the slider until the file us under that 5MP limit while the overall image size would just move up or down as a % of the original size. In the current setup, the only option is a clumsy game
It would be great if there's an option to use focus bracketed images for far more accurate depth map estimation with an algorithm or with AI, instead of using AI alone to guess from a single image, allowing users to change the focal point and depth of field of the image more accurate or achieve a more faithful representation of the actual image it could also pick which images from the stack should be used or combined automatically so the focal point picked on post (Lightroom lens blur) would be sharp but presented as it is, without distortion or alteration. Thank you.
I just upgraded to a newer ipad from my iPad 7. I was running ios 15.6. Apparently, now that I'm using the most recent version of the ipad Lightroom app, I can no longer crop in full screen mode. I was told i needed to put in a feature request. This baffles me because I don't know why this was taken away in the first place. It's difficult to get corners straight without being able to do this. Maybe you could also bring back the ability to overlay the grid in full screen crop, also. I remember that back in ios 14. But hey... i don't want to get ahead of myself. One thing at a time.
I've just filed a feature request to update the FAQ page https://help.myportfolio.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036483773-Embed-module to include code to embed an Instagram grid. The code is: <iframe src="http://instagram.com/USERNAME/embed" width="800" height="800" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe> The crucial details are: that the Instagram USERNAME is followed by "/embed" that in Instagram > Settings > Sharing and Re-use, you need to enable Website embeds
I'm not sure if this is across Windows as well, but I'd like to see better file management in LR on MacOS. My workflow in old LRC had been dump into working folder (local to laptop); then move to final location (NAS). With the introduction of local folders, I was trying to do something similar in LR But it seems in LR, the only operation is copy, no move?Additionally, there is no choice in warning to abort/rename/continue if duplicate names exist.. it will just always create a second copy.
Either along the top bar or along the bottom bar or as an image overlay (that can be toggled on/off like in LrC), please show the filename when in Detail view. This would help with identifying specific images as I scroll through, particularly when comparing two or three images (especially as 'Compare' is limited to only two images at a time). Right now, it is possible to see the filename but ONLY when the Info panel is open. This is not ideal for two reasons:(1) When comparing processing of two+ images, I need to see the Edit panel, which does not show the filename; and (2) At times, I want to close the right and left panels for larger on-screen images, therefore losing the filename in the Info panel.. Even in Compare mode, the filename is NOT shown--that's crazy!
Currently, the iPad and iOS versions of Lightroom offer a measly set of keyboard shortcuts that don't cover basic tasks such as mode switching between Edit, Crop, Healing, Clone modes or even applying automatic edits which seems like an awfully common task on such a platform. The full list is here at the moment and here's a screenshot from within the current version of the app for posterity. https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/keyboard-shortcuts-lightroom-mobile.html Oddly there doesn't appear to be a support article from help.adobe.com about Lightroom CC keyboard shortcuts, unlike with Lightroom Classic which has a massive help document with all possible shortcuts. I've attached a screenshot of the list of available shortcuts as it appears in-app on iPadOS running v6.3.0 EC9ADC/56 when holding the Command key which is an operating system wide convention for keyboard shortcut discovery. At a glance, missing on iOS/iPadOS are the following b
