Feature Requests

Hello!I am new to Lightroom. When I export my photos, I can only choose full, small, custom. Is there any way to make different sizes to choose from? It will be a timesaver. Thanks!Heiko
1)May I request to include in the MASK the suntract background. Its good that there is subtract subject when we want the radial mask to affect the bacground only. But there is no subtract background when we want the radial mask to affect the subject only. Many thanks. 2) pls also include the lips, eye sclera, eyebrow, iris and pupil in the person mask option. 3) the point color is very very important
For the rule sets please allow for excluding specific folders
I love using the "actions" wizard on my tablet for quick and useful filter edits to subject or background. The masking on the desktop is not so convenient. I'd love the same feature to be available on desktop!
Samsung Notes has a feature where you can edit your note on your tablet, using your phone for access to tools. This allows you to edit your notes full-screen on the tablet, and refer to your phone next to it for changing tools. I'm sure you see where this is going. I edit in LR on my tablet, and find that if you could enter a mode on your phone which gives access to certain tools for the image being edited on the tablet, it helps to declutter the screen while giving a more efficient and tactile workflow. And for those who this feature might not work for; don't use it. Lol.
I want to edit photos that i have in my Photos app using LR and then Save it again in Photos app overwriting the original one. iOS gives this option but LR doesn't take advantage of it. Don't ask me why I want to do that or offer alternatives. Many photo editing apps (like snapseed) already do just that for many years. Pretty please? (screenshot from the export menu of Snapseed.)
Hi.I just find out a problem (as i thought) in Lightroom for mobile for ios (but i think is the same for android too). In the topik i open about it it came out that this in not a bug but it is as it is by design. I am talking about enabling the new editor from early access. I notice that with the new editor when I am in portrait mode it's all fine but when I turn the phone in landscape mode the edit bar disappears and the only think you can see in the screen is the picture itself. So by design the only way that you can edit a photo is on portrait mode and not in landscape mode. So i really found usefull to have the ability to edit a photo in both portrait and lanscape mode and i need your Vote!!! Thanks a lot
I am posting this as a BUG. Not as a feature request. Why? Because, as you will see, the feature exists and seems to have been mistakenly forgotten in various areas in Lightroom Mobile and Desktop. PLEASE, EVERYONE, VOTE THIS ONE UP! WE ALL DESERVE TO BE ABLE TO FIND OUR PHOTOS! They will try to classify this as a feature request, but it is a BUG. Push this to the top as a BUG! Let's get movement on being able to FIND out PHOTOS! In Lightroom Desktop, in the INFO panel, there are clickable tags for which albums the photos reside in. If you click on them, they take you to the album. In Lightroom Mobile, the same info panel DOES NOT have the Album Tags. Obviously, this means you cannot click on them and get to an album quickly that contains that photo. I am submitting this as a BUG because there is no way it is intentionally left out! It is extremely difficult to find images in Lig
Hello Guys It would be a great feauture for the pen, while hovering and painting, to see the size of the Brush tool. So you could work more precise. Also for the Pro pen, for the click Pop-Up Menu, to be the have menus of the tool in usage atm. Wish all a great day.
I came to notice that there is no shortcut to delete images using a keyboard in Lightroom mobile. Using Lightroom with the Magic Keyboard on the iPad Pro feels great, and the iPad more and more is being used with a keyboard, it feels tedious having to do so many taps/clicks to delete files in Lightroom. If Lightroom already has some keyboard shortcuts (arrow navigation, grid view, esc, etc) for other actions, why not a delete keyboard shortcut? I feel like adding more keyboard shortcuts can make the experience of using the app smoother.
Lightroom Desktop: Grid ViewTo zoom in and out in grid view to change the size of thumbnails, is the tiny slider on the right bottom corner in the UI the only way to achieve this? I would love to have a two finger pinch to zoom action and shortcuts for this which would be much more accessible.
Please add the feature to delete photos from the Lightroom gallery using the delete button located on the supported key board I've tried different Bluetooth key boards and also have the Apple branded 12.9 folio with keyboard and the delete button is useless. When you press it, nothing happens. I would like to be able to delete Using the buttion on the keyboard unless someone knows a hot key Thank you!
This seems actually more like a bug report than a feature request, but I'm told this is by design. Currently, I've learned, that if you want to store an album locally, once it downloads and original to Lightroom, that original will remain indefinitely and not be cleared no matter how long it's been since you edited it. What I want is the ability to store most or all of my photos locally as Smart Previews, and offload the originals without needing to offload the Smart Previews.
Idea!!I've seen that there's a Lightroom CC app for apple tv, can there be a port for LG webOS smart TV platform? No better way to view my photos than on my OLED TV! Just thinking. :)Thanks!!
I'm not sure how possible this is, but it would be nice to have the ability to remove the Apple Photos portrait mode effect. iOS has saved depth data as metadata for some time. Lightroom is able to use this depth data in order to assist the recent lens blur function. Is it fesable for Lightroom to gain the ability to remove the Apple portrait mode effect? Sometimes I want to adjust it after importing the photo into Lightroom using the recent lens blur feature. The lens blur feature is difficult to use to its full potential when you are working with a file that has already been blured. Right now if I want to work with a clean file I have to: - Delete the imported file from Lightroom - Go to Apple Photos and turn off portrait mode -Reimport the file to Lightroom Obvisouly this is kind of a clunky workflow. My preferred implimentation would be: - Photo imports with the current depth effect from Apple Photos - If the user engages the depth effect editing feature in Lightroom the ima
어플로 사용할때 가로화면에서 UI왼쪽으로 옮기는 기능 좀 추가해주세요 답답해 죽겠어요
The device tab currently shows what photos you have made edits to in Lightroom by marking them with a pencil icon. Can we take this a step further and have an option to auto export our edits as an edit to the device photo library? Similar to how many iOS editing apps function. Or even just an option as part of the export workflow? Currently I have to export and create a duplicate copy on my device library. I don't want to delete the original most the time for obvious reasons. Edits applied from outside apps to the device library are non destructive, so there is minimal risk.
I have a web album that contains mostly HDR photos. It would be nice if the download option didn't result in an SDR download. Downloaded an HDR enabled file type when the photo is in that format would be ideal.
This has been a dream for mine for years. Please implement a simple shortcut key to auto straighten (from the crop tool). I realize "R" brings up the crop tool (only in Classic, not mobile) but having an auto straighten key would GREATLY improve workflow. Personally, I am a professional photographer editing about 100,000 photos a year. Unlike most photographers I use an iPad Pro with Lightroom Mobile for many reasons - number one being I edit about 8 hours a day during busy season and I want to sit on a couch instead of a desk. Another huge reason is the ability to move sliders and adjust crops with touch. I am always looking for ways to speed up my workflow on the iPad and auto straighten is something that I do to almost every photo. I do think that LR mobile gets slighted when it comes to keyboard shortcuts - which I partly understand because not everyone with an iPad Pro has a keyboard - but me and some other photogs I know would greatly appreciate some love. Thank you
In Details (full screen) view, I want to quickly move left and right navigating to other photos. I used the mouse wheel for this on Windows previously which was superb. On my Mac, scrolling the mouse wheel a little more quickly causes the action to bounce so the view jumps unpredictably several photos to the left or right. This kind of kills the fast and precise photo navigation I was used to in LR for Mac. The mouse wheel bouncing seems to be a known but accepted behavior on Mac. I therefore suggest we need Adobe to adjust the mouse wheel behavior in LR on Mac to allow quickly and precisely navigating through photos in Details view.
When classifying wildlife photos into albums it's really useful to see which albums a photo belongs to (potentially multiple). You can see this in place on the desktop and the web in the Information section, but not on any mobile app including the iPad. It must be so easy to add this and a really obvious missing feature, so I have no idea why it's not been done by now
I have been having an issue for the last several months with some photos exported from Lightroom causing the iOS Photos app to lag and never load the full res version of the image, only showing the thumbnail. This was weird as it only effected some photos, but I never took the time to figure out what the issue was. Tonight I did. I exported the file as i normally do from Lightroom iPad, and saved to device. Ran into the issue with the image not loading and causing issues in Photos. So next I exported a TIFF, and sent it to my mac. Then in macos i converted to jpg, sent that back to my iPad. This file worked fine, no issues. My normal exports always include metadata, as I like the EXIF data to see what camera, lens, etc were used. Next i exported the same file but without metadata. This also worked perfectly in the Photos app. So now I knew something was wrong with the Metadata being produced by Lightroom. So i send the metadata file to macos and use exiftool on the command line to inspe
Please add a Zoom-in functionality in the 'Review for Import' process Reasoning: When using the 'Review for Import' dialogue to import only selected photos all candidates for import are shown together in very small size with no option to zoom into the individual photos. The decision whether to import a given photo is, however, oftentimes driven by the details of the photo that cannot be seen properly without zooming into the photo. Thus, a zoom-in option is needed to allow a meaningful review to import.
I usually select multiple photos to Enhance. But after the enhancing is done- the selection (white boxes around images) switches to the new enhanced images. It would be fantastic if it would stay with the original photo, so they could be unflagged, removed, etc. instead of having to reselect the old ones to unflag.
It is inefficient to have to reset the previous settings every time I turn on the camera. Please create a function that allows users to turn on/off the camera's settings memory function.Thanks.
