Feature Requests

I want to start to use Lightroom Mobile as my power house to keep the photos. It is good that LR has ability to add keywords or tags for easy search later. But what I miss in LR is ability for LR to displays photos on map. I know that we can search in LR based on location keyword. Yet, I need to have visually capability for searching photos on map, similar like the "gallery" in Samsung device: you click a photo, scroll up, and there will be a map, and when we click a map, we can see photos (in gallery) on maps - zoom in, zoom out, and we can search photos easily and visually. Hope LR will add this feature. Regards Antonius
In Lightroom for iPad, it's possible to export an Original (Raw), but not Original + Settings. Why is that the case and is this a feature we could get added in the future considering it's in the desktop version of Lightroom? Cheers, Gannon
It would be really helpful if there was a keyword search option in the discover edits by the community in lightroom. As in not just selecting a category. It would save a lot of time and probably encourage others to use this function a little more if they could see what others are doing related to what they are looking to shoot/create. (Similar to Pinterest) Thanks!
I wish there was a way to show image stacks instead of automatically seeing every image in the stack when viewing an album on mobile. It can get very confusing when you have 3-4 images in a stack and each one is showing instead of seeing the stacks. I am asking for maybe more viewing options, just like it is on the computer, how you can choose to expand the stack or just see the stack cover. thanks!
Please add manual (ie. no specific lens profile) lens correction tools akin to those found in LR Classic and Camera Raw to LR cloud. Currently, we cannot use the distortion and vignette correction tools from the Optics section of LR cloud if we do not first assign a lens profile. Having generalized, non-profile specific tools available in this section would make working with lens corrections much easier for those whose lenses that are not supported with Adobe correction profiles. Thank you very much.
Lightroom has the best tool to share your photo and how it was edited. It also gives the ability to copy the preset of the photo. Thought that it super cool, you are giving away your edit/ tools for free. I think there can be a basic edit to let people copy. But the advance tools like HSL, Masking, etc. should be sellable on Lightroom. Help creators make more income.
I would like to see a feature that allows you to crop the screen exactly as you see it on your phone or desktop. Maybe it is just me, I find it very difficult to judge a crop when there is extra space and icons around it. Currently the UI displays the portion of the original photo that has been cropped out, the degree controls and the straighten, flip and rotate controls. To me the boarder of the screen is much easier to use as an edge. I would like to be able to zoom in to how I want to frame the picture and thern tap the screen to set the crop. NB I realise this will only work if you want to crop a photo to the ratio of a phone screen or monitor.
Just would like Lightroom mobile to have more space then just 1TB of lousy cloud space to save.
Ok, with the popularity of using slideshows for apps like Instagram or tik tok, or even popularity of vertically oriented display monitors, it would be great if lightrooms slideshow feature could be a bit more customized. What I mean is, add either user defined orientation of the slideshow canvas, or add some 16:9 vertical orientations. Then these can easily be exported for Instagram reels, etc. On that same note, slides shorter than 1 second would be helpful to avoid needing to send to other applications to speed them up and decrease overall image quality. Anyone else find a solution to this? Seems like it would be a great feature to keep up with today's social media engagement.
You should be able to cancel your subscription at any point without having to call up, having the option to do so in-app would make it much easier to do so.
Hi Lightroom team, I love how you implemented the camera function in the lightroom app and I know you are quite aggressively changing and improving the app,it is so glad for the users like us and I can't wait to see more. One of my painpoint wherever I am experiencing is the luanching steps of the camera, other than haptic touch on the icon, I couldn't find any easier way for the camera app launch, which makes me a little bit disappointed. So, making a SIRI shortcut on the apps is a excellent idea, please look to the moment camera app and they did it exceptionally good, a simple and fast method for the better handling is our wish. CheersDennis
There is no option available to open the "Open in exlporer" would be nice at least of clicking on local to open it in the explorer. Hopfully there is a 2022 update soon...lightroom classic is still supiror at all points expect of sharing pictures with the models.
Please add cinematic camera Android{Post moved to correct board by Moderator}
In Lightroom, there is a slider at the bottom right in grid view. Even when the slider is all the way to the right (largest grid size), the size of the thumbnails is small. Please consider modifying the slider so that the grid can be increased beyond the current maximum. This would make it easier for people with poorer eyesight to see the thumbnails more clearly.
Currently, the lightroom app does not support the Android 10-based yongnuo camera. When entering the live view/image capture menu, merely a black screen with a camera symbol is shown.
I know variations on this request have come up numerous times, but I'm putting this out there anyway. It would be extremely helpful if Adobe would allow LR users to adjust the strength which which distortion and vignetting corrections provided by built-in lens correction profiles are applied after the files are imported into LR. Currently, as many have pointed out before, with cameras that incorporate built-in profiles into raw files, LR reads the distortion and vignette correction settings set in camera and applies those to raw files; users cannot then change those in-camera settings in LR. This is problematic for many reasons. For example, if a raw file was set to have no vignette correction in camera, it can become difficult to then correct vignetting in LR, as there is no custom lens profile available. Additionally, using Nikon Z lenses an an example, even the highest in-camera vignette control settings often do not fully eliminate vignetting (see the attached photo, shot on the Ni
i wish that the enhance freature that I have on my Mac would be also included on Lightroom mobile on my Iphone. This would make me use my subscription to the fullest and will make it easier for me to get better photos done just from my Iphone. thank you!
Please leave the preset list at the last position after using a preset
Selective masking using luminance in Lightroom cc as in Lightroom classic would help speed up editing. Is this on the plan to be added in the near future?
Moin Auf dem tablet in lightroom kann man nicht einstellen ob man den Hintergrund bei den galerien möchte. Das geht nur rechner.
Very simple idea here. In settings, allow us to choose whether the app will open up to the last picture edited, or default to another location. I would choose the main library for myself. Every time I open the app currently, I have to exit my last photo in order to begin editing a new one.
Is there or could we have a flip image option on the clone stamp tool
I like to use the enhance feature in Lightroom which helps boost the details in the 12M photos is shoot on my a7s3, but I need to app,y that from my Mac vs being able to do the same from my iPad Pro. I use my iPad Pro as my main photo editing device and I need to keep using the Mac in my workflow which can be a hassle!
I use the keyboard significantly more than menus and the mouse. Therefore, a cheat sheet of commands in Lightroom desktop would be nice to include. Secondly, you cannot search the help system, you can only search the wider Adobe community. please add the ability to search just the help and/or tutorials.
With the use of keyboards on the iPad becoming more widespread the keyboard shortcuts in LR Mobile (for iPad) should Match those on the Desktop application I.e. R = Resize (with support of Enter key to ok / done resize). Cmd-Z = Undo The two above are the most important and most used but also: Increase/decrease selected slider in small increments Up Arrow / Down Arrow or + / - Up Arrow / Down Arrow or + / - Increase/decrease selected slider in larger increments Shift + Up Arrow / Shift + Down Arrow or Shift + + / Shift + - Shift + Up Arrow / Shift + Down Arrow or Shift + + / Shift + - Select White Balance tool (from any module) W W Select the Crop tool (from any module) R R Constrain aspect ratio when Crop tool is selected A A Crop to same aspect ratio as previous crop Shift + A Shift + A Crop from center
