Lightroom Mobile for iOS should support background sync. Currently, the app only syncs when opened but stops when switching to another iOS app or the display starts to sleep. This makes the workflow less than optimised and required unnecessary user attention. Please consider implementing this functionality.

Once the indexing has been completed and Lightroom CC has found all the potential faces, it would be nice to have the ability to add People Tags to pictures that were "missed" where no faces were recognized.  The idea of People Tags is to be able to search for people and generate all potential results.  Right now it's messy because you have to resort to keyword tags to identify people that were missed with facial recognition and makes searching and cataloging a tedious task.

Absolutely love the new border tool...just wish I could add the borders to multiple photos in Lightroom Mobile.

Often it is difficult to tell what is the reason for a performance bottleneck. For debug purposes, Lr likely has detailed logging/capturing capability of the system. It would be awesome to add a minimal tool to show where the largest lags are. e.g. Disk, memory, CPU, GPU, network....   Tim

Beyond the name, it would be nice to be able to capture additional attributes about people. For example, I have a large extend family, a few with the same name. It would be handy to be able to differentiate between two Bob's that were born 60 years apart. I currently put the birth year in () to differentiate. Or friends with the same name, I again use () for some additional data to differentiate them.    Therefore, it would be handy to be able to create groups and have people organizaed under the group, or have the ability for custom attributes for each person (a fixed number of attributes is fine, two or three would easily handle all my use cases).  

There should be an option to sort albums and folders together, instead of folders always appearing first. I have lots of folders where the children are a mix of folders and albums (based on the sub-organization lower in the tree) and I would like them to be sorted together; otherwise, it looks wrong because the children aren't sorted alphabetically, or I can't use dates in the names because the dates will be out of order.

I have a number of times tried the AI based removal tool. When the person/object crosses higher contrast areas, such as in shadow cast by a building, or a the object/person partially blocks a body of water the AI based removal usually does a poor job.  Often I have a second image taken within a few moments in which the person/object has moved.  It would be very nice if there was a way to point the AI to retreive the image data from the second image instead of attempting to generate the removed area.  Going a step further, multiple source images would be the best solution, think of the ability to take multiple shots of a semi crowded street, and have the AI remove people by using multiple shots as people have moved and being able to peice together the images.   Tim

Lightroom Mobile currently restricts lens corrections to the built-in profile list, which excludes vintage and adapted lenses.   Please add: Custom profile import (.LCP) Flat-field correction from a reference DNG Benefits: parity with desktop workflows;  accurate correction for distortion, vignetting, CA, and sensor color shading; better results for the growing community using adapted and vintage lenses;

I’d like to suggest a feature for Lightroom on iOS: the option to automatically delete photos from the iOS Photo Library after they’ve been successfully imported into Lightroom.   This would help keep the device’s storage organized and avoid having duplicate copies (one in the iOS Photos app and one in Lightroom). Right now, the process is manual, and it can become time-consuming when importing large batches of photos.   Having an automatic “delete after import” toggle (similar to what exists in some other photo management apps) would make the workflow much smoother and more efficient.

Hi, I just have a quick question, i got the iphone 14 Pro today and i have noticed there is no way to take a 48 MP image from it within LRM, they are 12mp at the moment even in DNG, so i was wondering if the full resolution of 48PM from the main camera be possible in a future release??Thank you for your time.    Stephane

Is it possible to sync stacks between devices in Lightroom CC. I don't mean the photos, I mean the fact they are in a stack. I sorted loads of photos into stacks on my Mac and figured they'ed be stacked on my iPad but they are not.

Lightroom CC and Keywords. It appears that the CC version only has limited support for keywords. For those of us who have spent years collecting or building controlled vocabularies, this would be a critical requirement and is a potential game-changer in respect of migrating to the CC version. Dealing with 10,000 bird species in a variety of languages including scientific binomials ain't going to be fun in a flat keyword list. I recognise that for people who only want 'blue', 'sky', 'holiday' this won't be important, but for digital asset management it is pretty up there.Support for a continuation of hierarchical controlled vocabularies would be much appreciated.

I would like a feature to remove dark circles, a skin cleansing option, and a background remover.

I am really enjoying Lightroom's generative removal feature. Would you kindly think about incorporating generative fill, which allows for text generation similar to Photoshop?

Are they ever going to make it possible to tether to an iPad? I connected my z6ii to my iPad Pro last night the images come up really fast on the import screen you need to zoom to full size individually. This seems like the ability to tether to an iPad in Lightroom mobile would be a pretty simple software update fir Adobe. And a really awesome feature for us 

This can be applied across all apps that are both in PC and Mobile Phones(Android & iOs) I propose Adobe to introduce for mobile devices a lifetime Premium subscription option i.e. like other competitor apps. Obviously iOs app will be more expensive than Amdroid. But currently your yearly pricing is close to a lifetime subx price for competitor apps.  Obviously not affecting the computer subscriptions.  With such a move you'll definitely have more loyal users in both mobile phones and computers. Though for sales increase you put an offer for 1st time Lifetime mobile app subscribers get a 1 month free app use, then subsequent monthly or yearly payments as per the PC app subscription. 

Hi, Importing images in lightroom mobile feels a bit bare bone: My usual workflow involves connecting a memory card to my laptop, and filter using the star rating. Then I import images with one star or more. (I rate my photos straight on the camera, it is much more convenient for me). When on holiday, I find myself stuck, as there is no such option on the Android app. (Importing all the photos is unrealistic, as I take thousands of them)  Would it be possible to have star (and other)  Rating systems on import please?      

Since we cannot manually enter custom aspect ratios in Lightroom mobile, I would like to have a 65:24 preset aspect ratio for getting that x-pan look.    That's all. 

I know that Lightroom allows me to move Presets to a different Group / Folder on an individual basis, but I have hundreds of Presets spread across multiple Groups.   I would like the ability to select multiple Presets to be able to move them to a different folder in bulk.

I would love to be able to change the background color of the Lightroom Mobile interface while I'm editing an image. Working freelance and traveling a lot and commuting, I use my iPad a lot to make adjustments so I can save time. Several of my jobs have required me to have backgrounds close to white but without being white (specifically e-commerce photos). Even though I'm using the clipping mask to see my white and black points, it would still be nice to have a white background during those projects to make sure I don't make my models look like they're floating in the middle of nowhere. It would be one more step I could get done before even getting to the studio! Thanks!

Really would like to be able to organize my presets groups into folders and be able to rename the the folders/groups too. It would be easier to navigate if I can sort them by season or type specific.

I was (and still am, I guess) so, so excited about the launch of the new CC. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that there is no local adjustments folder to add custom brush presets. I chatted with an Adobe Support rep and they said that it "may be added in the future" and to post on here.I cannot believe that I have to post on here asking for Adobe to add a main chunk of my workflow back into Lightroom. I can't be the only one whose LR workflow is affected by the lack of this capability.

I recently took a bunch of exposure bracketed shots and now I'm merging them together into HDR photos. Doing one is very straightforward (select all 3 and then Ctrl + Shift + H), but then I have to wait 35 seconds (I timed it) for the merge to complete and the interface to become responsive again. When I have a hundred HDR photos to produce, this takes an inordinate amount of time, where 95% of it is just waiting. I know Lightroom Classic already has batch processing options. Can we please get it in Lightroom Cloud?   Better yet, could Lightroom just detect it on import? The procedure I follow to find my bracketed shots is very straightforward. Just find a group of 3 pics that have identical composition where the last one is overexposed and all were taken within 1 second of each other. I'd be happy to specify certain parameters, such as that all HDR merges should be made of 3 shots because that's how I always set my bracketing.

The People option in masking available in web browser in laptop/desktop isn't available in my ipad or mobile device. Would be more helpful if that feature is also included in other devices.
