P: Ability to copy/sync settings/adjustments across a group of photos

It seems that I am unable to copy or sync adjustments to multiple images in the new LRCC? I just imported/uploaded my first job with over 1200 RAW files, and need to set my base contrast/saturation/sharpening to all the RAW files before I begin my select edits. For some reason my "paste edit settings" is greyed out when I have multiple images selected. I'm assuming this may be some sort of user error on my part, there is no way a professional photo editing tool would not allow the use of base settings applied to a group of photos. However even when I go back to "add photos", there is no option to apply a preset on import like in the old Lightroom? Adobe please help! LRCC is obviously useless to me if I have to Ctrl/Copy Ctrl/Paste 1200 times a day... Thank you,

Man buys a new computer, says to himself "Here's my chance to embrace the future."

Installs Lightroom CC...

Edits first photo...

World hasn't ended...

Highlights first photo and next select...

Searches for sync...

Searching...

Surely must be hidden...

After all hiding things behind cryptic icons is modern UI design (F* U Apple)...

Searching...

World ends...

Uninstalls...

Remains hopeful for hoverboards...

If I just wanted to make adjustments to one image, I would open it in Photoshop or Camera Raw. Bulk editing is one of THE MAIN FEATURES of an application like this, regardless of whether it is intended as a replacement or upgrade for the older version. Why on earth they would go for split toning and watermarks ahead of sync'd settings is utterly mind-blowing.

Edit: Before anyone mentions it, I know LrCC is designed for a mobile workflow. And that's fantastic. This is a direction I've wanted Lr to go for some time now. I think it's clear the future of "pro photography" is headed in this direction too, particularly as networks and mobile devices become more powerful. Which is why it stumps me that Adobe is committed to this "one country / two systems" approach instead of embracing the future they are clearly trying to prepare for.

Sync is vital.  I won't be using LRCC if there is no sync!!

I feel like I'm in a toxic relationship with Adobe because it can swing from epic to a nightmare in a flash!

i'm a fairly new user! just tried SELECT ALL + PASTE like 30 times, I thought it was glitching.

I don't consider Switching to classic an option. here's why- I tried installing Classic last month because I discovered that was the only way to get BRUSH PRESETS, and what resulted was CLASSIC instantly took all remaining LOCAL HARDDRIVE MEMORY TO ZERO.

I got that sorted out by moving all photos to an EXTERNAL harddrive and you guessed it ALL "LINKS" ARE NOW BROKEN.

The sad thing is, I after learning on CC, I simply could NOT get the hang of Classic- the user interface was NOT INTUITIVE ENOUGH, since i guess CC spoiled me in that regard.

can we make paste All happen?

Adobe, if you're listening, please add batch setting syncs to this new Lightroom CC. I cannot believe this was left out.

I NEED the "previous" button on Lightroom CC!!

I thought the ability to cull on my phone would save me time, but now that I'm at the desktop editing in CC, realizing without the "previous" button it's taking wayyyy longer...

I often use a white balance card and paste the WB settings over to all pictures from the same place. Doing this for one picture at a time is very cumbersome.
