Does Lightroom Mobile work in landscape mode on an iPhone?

"one can still rotate" haha yes of course thats not in question at all but this limites the edit due to fact that this horizontal screen is then smaller and of course less convient to edit compared to landscape mode. Seems you didnt edit a lot via phone which I use often even as a professional a MUST have!

I see from the pinned reply that this is coming back soon (apparently as part of the revised UI - which I know there are some other issues with people aren't happy with). But it needs to be prioritized to come back ASAP. Phones are frequently going to have some of the most capable screens, especially when it comes to HDR—it's vital to be able to edit in landscape!

Do you mean the ability to rotate the phone and edit in landscape mode? If so, it was apparently removed as part of a rework of the iOS interface for some reason. They are indeed working on/planning on restoring it per the pinned post on this idea thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-ideas/p-restore-editing-in-landscape-mode-on-iphones/idi-p/14145477. Upvotes on that overall idea can't hurt to hopefully have it restored ASAP, though!

(I assume you don't mean rotating the image itself—I have no trouble with doing that still in the Crop/Rotate section in Edit mode. Just have to do it while the phone is in portrait.)

it used to. but, it looks like they took that away. hopefully, they'll allow landscape mode editing again.

Hi, I don't understand why Adobe has removed the editing in landscape mode, I literally used that on every photo edit. Bring it back please Adobe

Can you tell us what app you are using on your phone? Is it the Acrobat Reader Premium? Adobe Express? Something else?

Its taking so long to fix this.... I mean you can by default switch editing in landscape off, but add a feature where i can switch it on in the menu. Shouldnt be that hard... But other propblems (free floating guides) seem to take forever to fix. Dont know whats going on at Adobe...

Maybe it helps if we openly talk abt alternatives in this forum.

Which apps can you guys recommend?
