Our use of Siteimprove app indicates that to raise our SEO numbers, we need to use AVIF files (instead of .jpg, .png or webp) Is anyone else finding Adobe support for this — a maker or converter? What do you think?

Which has NOTHING at all to do with Google pushing AVIF over HEIF. Nothing at all. Are they recommending that you provide HEIF as well?

AVIF may not have much to do with SEO but it does help to improve overall page scores with Google and Lighthouse metrics.

Sounds full of hooey to me. AVIF files have nothing to do with SEO.
