Disabling anti-aliasing for shape/path vector objects

Suggestion: anti-aliased checkbox for vertex paths and shapes.

I want to draw a Shape, eg a star, with hard pixellated edges, while keeping it in vector form.

As far as I can tell, the only way to draw a star with hard pixellated edges is to rasterize it by:

- drawing the shape as Pixels (anti-alias checkbox at the top)

- using Make Selection (anti-aliased checkbox in popup dialog)

- stroking the vector shape with the pencil tool

But I don't want to rasterize. I want to keep my shape as a vector path, so I can edit vertices later without loss of quality. There are other layers in the file that must be aliased; only this one needs to be pixellated. It will be used for a hard-edged Unity mask, so I need to see exactly where the pixels will be on or off once it is cut up and layered with a border and other elements in Unity.

I got you now @Sarah Northway so drawing with the vector shape tool only gets you part-way. You still want to have a hard edged aliased edge for that editable vector layer.

I'm sorry @Kevin Stohlmeyer but either I don't understand your solution or you don't understand my problem. I can't tell from your attachment whether the diagonal edges are aliased or not, and I don't see a setting that indicates anything but the default (anti-aliased). To be clear, I want opaque aliased edges:

NOT the default soft semitransparent anti-aliased ones:

Hi @Sarah Northway you can do this already in current versions of Photoshop using the vector tools.

Below is a star created using the Polygon Vector tool and setting options.

Its vector and remains editable.
