On photoshop for iPad I feel like the layer visibility toggles are opposite from a user experience standard. How about making the visible layers eyeball white and gray out the nonvisible crossed through eyeball.
I use Photoshop every day. I purchased an iPad Pro specifically because Photoshop was available as an app. Very dissapointed that the interface was completely different (basically I have to relearn everything). Same now for web. Very excited only to see that the classic interface is gone. PLEASE PLEASE create an option for a classic version fo the interface. I simply want to open up the application and start working. This is currently not possible. Thanks, Daniel
I've been using Photoshop for over 20 years as a designer and I also teach many classes with various Adobe Software in London. I wanted to work a bit with textile designer in order o create new classes. Why do I have to pay for a plugin that should exist as a panel in Photoshop? Over £300 for the plugin and Aquario doesn't offer any discount for tutors. Can't Adobe simply incorporate it to Photoshop?
Can there be a way to log what brushes are used, and keep it in a separate window, or a drag and drop feature to easily store the brushes used for a particular peice of work? If it could automatically open when you open your file, this would be incredibly helpful to not have to go scrolling through everything. It would be nice to have the brushes you use in a separate window from the full list of brushes you want to pull from. If anyone knows of something like this that could be added, please let me know. Thank you.
Here should be Layer(s), because it takes into consideration all the layers. I've checked 🙂I mean, if the underlying one has a mask and we can see another layer(s) through it, PS will consider all of them as a composite.
Blend if is a great feature, but could be even better. As you know, it helps to hide some areas of the image based on the luminance values. In some cases it's wise to use separate RGB channels, particularly when there's a good color contrast. Here's a sample. How to remove only the gray texture? The composite channel looks like this (no contrast).Let's check the blue channel. So, we choose this channel in the Blend if window and tweak the sliders. This may be not enough and we need to check other channels to make some adjustments. Here we've got 2 options:a) press "OK" (the window will be closed), check the Channels panel again, remember which areas are light and dark in each of the remaining channels, return to Blend if, make adjustmentsb) just blindly tweak those sliders in the remaining channels I suggest adding the channels previews directly into the Blend if window. We'll clearly see which areas are dark and light in each separate channel. Handy and time-saving.
I appreciate that a product like Photoshop evolves over time. However, over the years, I've found it frustrating when I am using a certain Toolbar configuration and an update changes it. A better UX would be "Hey here's a new Toolbar config we think you'll like" and let users make those decisions, instead of changing the UI like this.
Here's my idea for improvement: ALLOW ME TO COMPLETELY TURN OFF YOUR CLOUD SAVING AND LAUNCHING CRAP FROM MY COMPUTER. "Cloud" is just another word for "Someone else's computer" and frankly, I don't trust ANY COMPANY to toss my stuff in the "Cloud." I saved this document by mistake - but it was YOUR FAULT for making the option available to me in the first place. I DO NOT EVER WANT TO SAVE TO THE CLOUD, OPEN IN THE CLOUD, OR DO ANYTHING IN THE CLOUD.
Is there a way to back up the favourite fonts list in Ps or Ai. They manage font lists in their character panel differently. How can export and import the favourite font list in Photoshop or illustrator?
The color themes panel has disappeared and this has ruined my color process. I have tried to come up with an alternative paid plugin but there seems to be none that does the same The web-version is impractical. Creating a jpeg from a layered file is not a one-step process - or is it? I want my color information within Photoshop, not on an external website. I also do not want to upload unregistered professional work to the web. Are there any suggestions to get a proper color workflow together that analyzes color as the killed plugin did? PS: If there is no replacement available - when will the "technical ramifications" be solved and the plugin return to Photoshop?
Really for any Adobe application. We jot down notes on new (or new to us) features and even try them in the apps if we have time BUT, if there was a simple way to notate those in the apps themselves as little reminders, then we would adopt and benefit from them not having to go back and watch the Max videos. See attachment. These could be built into the existing What's New / Discover panel as favorites / tasks or in a simple Notes like panel. This could be similar to the module / task learning model of Google Primer.Anyway, this is a win-win and not technologically hard to implement considering the breakthrough features you are developing. Thanks for considering.
While a highly anticipated native support for WebP file format is available, the process of saving files to WebP format is time consuming and not user friendly. Is there a plan for WebP to be added to the Export function, with a 'quick export as WebP' option as PNG currently has and along PNG, JPG, and GIF formats in 'Export As'? I believe this is not something that only affects me, as more and more websites will make the switch to WebP now that Safari finally supports it and Internet Explorer is discontinued, for many users all created images for web will be in WebP format and PNG or JPG will slowly become legacy formats.
As per the title, please add a way of resetting slider values. Preferably by double-clicking, just like in Lightroom. It would save everyone a lot of time.
Provide an explicit button for Photoshop web to force full-screen interface without a taskbar for browsers which don't have that option natively (e.g. Android browsers).
Hi everyone!I would like to have your opinion on how many would like to have the capabilities of the well-known Image Processor Pro as a native tool in Photoshop and perhaps with some improvements/additions regarding output.I use Image Processor Pro intensively, but I have always found it bizarre that in all these years there has never been a considerable step forward directly in the batch export possibilities in Photoshop. Is this something that is of little interest to most users? I would like to understand this.Thank you 😉
Good afternoon, I am a photographer and I finalise the edit of my best pictures in photoshop. After editing the .tif, I want to save them as .tif ; and .jpeg of the best quality and with metadata. However, none of the options I have suit my workflow:- Quick export = max quality isn't maximum- Save as, change to jpeg, has TWO loadings (to the first popup and then the quality popup) and five clicks. It's abnsolutely uneffective to use.- Making an action to save as, selects the folder in which I record the action instead of an automated "same as the current version" folder. Indeed, I am asking you for a real solution to export in one key (for example, ctrl+<) a JPEG in the SAME location as the current file, with Metadata, maximum quality. To go even further, having a function that automatically saves at the same time a .TIF, a full JPEG and a cropped quality JPEG for web with a maximum size of for example 4mo would be simply awesome. Thank you for giving feedbac
A feature I would like to see in futures releases of Photoshop is an Ai tool that can analyse objects and learn to transform that object to match or blend with an another object. For example, I have an damaged image of a motorbike that is difficult to repair because of missing parts of the image. I have another stock photo of the same make and model motorcycle in profile but the orienation and view is different from the image I am trying to repair. I have tried using free transform to apply to the good image so that I can overlay the good image on the damaged imagein a layer so that I can repair the image. However this has been a lot more difficult and the results are less than satidfactory. What I would like is have an Ai tool that I can tell to use the good example of an object to learn from and then transform it into a matched perspective so that I can overlay and repair or, the Ai is good enough to look at the good image and then repair the damaged one.
Can you add the ability to use the Match Color function with Smart Objects? Currently I have to rasterize a layer just to use the Match Color option.
Something i'm running into is the need for Clients and Invitee's of my shared Albums to be able to sort by thier own liked photos. This would be a great feature for myself as well to be able to sort by liked photos in shared albums. When an invitee likes a photo, I can see it in my lightroom, but they need to be able to sort by the photos they liked themselves. This would streamline the ability to choose the best of the best in a shared album and would eliminate a need to make an entirely separate album of just liked photos so they can view those alone via the original link. Best, Jared
Hi, I need Layer Comps. I'm a storyboard artist working on films and a lot of us use Layer Comps all the time for our work to animate out panels for animatics. Everything else in this first release looks great and is working pretty well. Oh, and I need a Zoom Blur also. Thanks!
I found this feature for windows really annoying, when you press ALT key for a photoshop shortcut the first lette of the menus highlight and the machine get ready for a keyboard imput to open the menu tab that start with the same latter. There absolutely no option to deactivate this feature on W11, it is forced on you, and the fact that has not been address to me is proof that adobe software tests are done only on apple machines and windows dosent care about common shortcuts of productive world-wide softwares so much this feature as I aready said is forced on you, eitherway I think is much more easy to adobe to find out an option for photoshop itself to ignore this feature than to me for say the same thing to microsoft. This is not the case of a "common" use of photoshop however, I'm a concept artist and an illustrator, I do a lot of digital painting in PS, and I click ALT while using the brushtool for color picking really-really fast. The opening of this menu option with the very
Hii have an idea i think if it adds in adobe photoshop will be awesome its a tool that makes in adobe photoshop for example design and you want to add another photo but you need to add it in the same place and scale it if it needs all these do it automatically doesn't need my intervention
Every time Photoshop updates to a new version, I need to copy my scripts to the new version's scripts directory. Ideally, Photoshop would also check some other locations on the filesystem where user scripts might be located. For example, it could also check $HOME\Abobe\Photoshop\Scripts where $HOME is the user's home directory on their operating system and load scripts found their to the File -> Scripts menu.
add an option to lock canvas rotation or disable the rotation tool. Disabling all gestures as a solution is unacceptable. Disabling GPU/OpenGL usage as a solution is unacceptable. Not all touch devices can disable rotation gestures, so suggesting to users that they use external software is also not an acceptable solution. For example, the Wacom 13HD touch does not have the "Standard Gestures" tab that allows the user to disable rotation gesture. This should instead be available inside photoshop.
I had enjoyed using the version 22.4.5 Photoshop, but I accidentally allowed it to be erased. But in talking with Adobe support, we have discovered that only 22.0 is available for your support folks to provide an older version of Photoshop. Many of us like 22.4.5. Could you please provide that build for us as a direct download link for those of us who have accidentally lost it? Thank you!
