P: Ability to lock interface/panels

If using graphics tablet to retouch confronted with problem to moving Photoshop panels. Like, wont to back on a history step and accidentally moving all panel with history. Maybe can make "lock interface" function?

    @stephen_nielson Any chance this feature gets improved so that floating panels also get locked? It's simply not useful for dual monitor setups right now, because I cannot dock those panels ... Thanks!

    *grayson wolo Sorry, I should have been more specific. You can lock the position of all your docked panels by going to Window > Workspaces > Lock Workspace.

    Sooooo friggin unhelpful. This is the FIRST RESULT for "How to lock ui" or "how to stop dragging around windows in photoshop."

    It was implemented a year ago? How come people still can't find or even search for it for the past 2 years?

    Thanks for adding that feature but unfortunately it doesn't really work as expected:
    – it only locks the position of the panel but not the size (and when working with a wacom tablet accidentally changing the size happens quite often.)
    – it does not work with floating panels, which means it's useless when you are using a second monitor for your panels.

      This feature was implemented in Photoshop CC 2019 (version 20.0). You can lock the position of all your docked panels by going to Window > Workspaces > Lock Workspace.

      When using a tablet I find that I quite often accidentally detach a docked panel rather than opening it.

      I know that the tolerance was changed in CS6 but I would like to see it increased even more for tablets in PS CC.

        Quite often when I try to open a docked panel, I'll drag it off and spawn a new window. I assume that there's a minimum distance for a panel to be dragged before it detaches. It'd be great if this distance was larger.

        I assume others may have the same issue, even though some of us have been using Photoshop for years.

        Could be just me, but I do this probably once a week. Anyone else have this issue?

        As an illustrator who uses a Wacom tablet and stylus constantly, it frustrates me to no end that you can't lock the palettes so that when you call yourself tapping on something it doesn't come sliding out and you end up wasting time putting it back in position. Plenty of others MUST have an issue with this, no?
