Photoshop CS6 suggestion.
When in Full Screen Mode when the image is fit to screen the ability to move it on the screen in any directions instead of it being static or to have to change the screen mode.

It would be nice to move the canvas in every screen mode. I cant see the reason why It should be locked?

Here is a screen shot of Photoshop open on the left and Lightroom on the right. It would be great if I didn't have to click F to move the image to the left in Photoshop and have to hit shift F again to bring it back to the original screen.

Maybe there could be a key you can click when you want to move the image.

I'm requested that feature as sometimes I like my image to be on the left side of my 27 inch screen and then I open Lightroom and place it on the right side. It would save me several steps in my workflow to not have to change the screen mode back and forth to do this. Is it a possiblility in a future photoshop?

In CS5 When an image is opened in an undocked window it would be nice if it could be panned around the window similar to how it can be panned in the docked window. Currently in CS5 if an image is smaller that the floating window you cannot pan it around. It is locked to the centre.

Alright, now the request makes more sense, and I updated the title to match.

Ah, that's not full screen mode - that's just a window expanded to fit the available space. In full screen mode (press the "f" key twice) you don't have the window borders, menu, or the palettes by default.

And correct - in a window that doesn't need scrolling (pixel size is less than the display and fits entirely on the display), you don't have the option to scroll the document.

In full screen mode, you do have the option to scroll/pan the image.

PS if I change the screen mode or if the image is not at the (fit on Screen) command 0 then I can move it but not as describe above.

Hi Chris
If I change the screen mode I can move the image but if the image is at full screen, command 0, and I try and use the hand it won't move.
Here is a screen shot of the page.

You can already do that in Photoshop: just use the hand tool (or the spacebar shortcut for the hand tool).
