P: Bring Quick Share back to Photoshop (removed from 23.3)

Adobe, bring back the Quick Share button that was at the top right of Photoshop (it was just removed with the April release of Photoshop 23.3)

The reasoning for removing it is stated as "due to low usage, desire to simplify the options bar UI, and redundant functionality to other export functions."

But there is no other export function (that I am aware of) that allows you to send an image directly to another device via AirDrop -- This was extremely convenient as I didnt have to save/export a file onto my HDD everytime I wanted to send something to my phone or tablet.
Please bring it back and tuck it away somwhere if you have to.

ONE vote per customer is all any customer deserves.

Fact: thousands of views, page after page, hundreds of posts, not a lot of votes (54 thus far). That's what Adobe is looking at.

It's because we can't vote twice 😉 Plus there are many non unique replies. 'Merely' 21 of mine to help users or to communicate to them my finds. Then maybe double - triple posts of some others, but still if we end with 100 comments to 50 votes I completely agree to be more consequent 🙂

Please bring back the quick share. I used this all the time. Why was it taken away on the update! This was one of the best things and now it's gone.

My concern is that I have thousands of PS edited photos; will I be able to access them using a different program? Or are they forever held hostage by Adobe?

If the images are in an openly documented format like TIFF and JPEG, no issue. PSD not an issue IF whatever new product support that format. So check. Layers? Most likely not but check. A few try but no guarantee of a match if so, especially with blend modes. Again, a flattened TIFF, lots of options. TIFF is an open source format (controlled by Adobe).

I posted earlier in this thread about my disappointment over the quick share feature being eliminated with the last update. I used this feature every time I wanted to share a photo. After hours spent on live chat, and on the phone talking to an Adobe rep, I was told to go back to an older version of PS. So.... while I am doing that, I will be looking for a new editing program. My concern is that I have thousands of PS edited photos; will I be able to access them using a different program? Or are they forever held hostage by Adobe? I cannot believe I have paid for a subscription to a service that no longer cares that the average guy/gal does not want to spend even more money to use their cloud. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The removal of quick share in Photoshop is a total drag! I use it every day to send email images to clients. It was quick and easy and certainly didn't take up much room on the options bar. Adobe - Please bring it back!!!!

I don't quite understand which way are you going? Is it like I say according to you or the opposite?

I'd rather hear a sincere confession: 'We are aware of the high use of Quick Share, but due to the plan to impose a "Share button" service on users, we are taking back the ability to export files easily.'

That would be really okay, and in a situation showing how little those offical words are worth, simplifying the menu options implies a falsehood in action.

Low usage sounds very suspicious when looking at the stats. So is 51 not much for less than a month?

Nice try. 51 votes yes. Less than a month; 2.6K views!
