P: Bring Quick Share back to Photoshop (removed from 23.3)

Adobe, bring back the Quick Share button that was at the top right of Photoshop (it was just removed with the April release of Photoshop 23.3)

The reasoning for removing it is stated as "due to low usage, desire to simplify the options bar UI, and redundant functionality to other export functions."

But there is no other export function (that I am aware of) that allows you to send an image directly to another device via AirDrop -- This was extremely convenient as I didnt have to save/export a file onto my HDD everytime I wanted to send something to my phone or tablet.
Please bring it back and tuck it away somwhere if you have to.

Low usage sounds very suspicious when looking at the stats. This idea gained 51 votes in 22 days. The rate of growth is very dynamic, seeing other ideas have reached this level after many months.

For all Photoshop users, 51 is obviously not much. Even when it comes to the Macintosh itself. However, we can relate this to other results. So the leading idea now has 248 votes, the 2nd and 3rd have 204 and 201, then the 4th and 5th 175 and 153. The 1st three come from 2011, the next two from 2019 and 2021.

So is 51 not much for less than a month? This is a lot, and if this number soon reaches over 100 votes, it will be right behind THE TEN TOP of the most popular submissions.

Dagger to the heart.

Bring back quickshare button if you think it's low usage then you are out of your mind adobe, this was the most easy way to share it to lightroom mobile and then share wherever you wanted from mobile phone.

I don't want to run circles to find another way this was simple and you just had to break it didn't you.. stop re inventing the wheel people if you need to shine on your meeting with brainstorming ideas then come up with something better and not remove features that work in favour of average user. So typical leaving photoshop and Adobe for good is the only way for me.. brainstorm this

This is very unfortunate,  I use this feature all the time. It helped me airdrop to review my work on my phone. This is not fair, please bring back!

I personally never used this, but I see no reason to remove it. FWIW.

Not true, this functionality was used by everyone I know who knew it existed and whenever somebody did but know about it and Indhared it with them they immediately started to use it!

@Kevin Stohlmeyer A couple of relevant facts... Adobe continues to lag other companies, particularly Apple and Google, in its cloud market share and adoption. Its cloud filesharing market share is .17% to Dropbox's 2.87%. The company has stated that its goal is to significantly increase its share of the cloud "Experience" market in the next five years, with aggressive plans to do so. Replacing a functionality that allowed users to share to other platforms with a function that requires use of Creative Cloud looks like an obvious strategy to achieve this growth. There's nothing wrong with companies trying to increase their market share — and Adobe has had some aggressive tactics to do so in the past; the problem is that the corporate line on why they took away the functionality is basically gaslighting.

Correct, @Kukurykus. I've been in MarComms long enough to recognize the tone.

As to my view he is not skeptical to your answer, but the statement linked in your answer. The next part of his post clearly shows that he later read given reasons but found them to look quite clumsy to the arisen situation.
