P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

I forgot that we have to go to 200% scaling in order to fix the photoshop small menu problem and at the same time make everything super big and unusable.

How about you take a screen shot of adobe cc 2014 on different resolutions and upload it here so everyone can see how big the rest of windows will be they upscale to 200%, before they listen to you and waste their money and upgrade to another useless version that really doesnt adress the issue?

just an update for the rest of people who follow this blog or forum or what ever it is that adobe is providing.

Chris recommends to upgrade to CC 2014 but if you read their other blog people have problems with the CC 2014 as well. If you want to fix the problem then you have to go to a 200% scaling on windows. But guess what, everything will be so gigantic that is not even usable for the users.

You can read about it here http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...

Dont waste your money on CC 2014.

its not like high resolution monitors came out last week. They are around for a long time and most Photoshop users who use your software professionally work on high resolution displays.

so you just coming up with the new feature, which shouldnt be really new, sounds pretty lame to me.

I will write about this and they way you guys provide support and solution to your customers on my blog.

We will see if that is going to get your attention then

You know by saying upgrade to CC 2014, you might as well say wait another 2 years and probably in 2016 we will have another software that will be a lot better that what we currently have.

Because right now you cant really fix any problem.

And again update to CC 2014 doesnt help me and everybody else who already purchased your product and paid a lot of money for it.

AND AGAIN THAT IS NOT A GOOD ANSWER.

First of all I dont think that would be a major upgrade for adobe to provide that kind of update to their software. Specially when they sold the master suit for over 2 gran in the first place, adobe needs to provide that kind of support.

Second of all, its not like that back in two years ago when CS6 came out, there weren't any high resolution screens in the market. So knowing your market and customer base and at the same time not considering the fact that you guys didnt factor in, that most of your customers, specially photoshop users, might be using higher resolution screens, tells me that you guys arent doing a very good job

And third, if you aren't providing that kind of update to adobe products to support high resolution screens, then you shouldn't provide any update period. Not too long ago there was an update for cs6 master suit that was more than 600 megs of data when I downloaded completely.

So you are saying CS6 doesnt get that update but at the same time you guys provide a massive update to your software. And to be honest I didn't even notice the difference that what was changed after the update was complete.

So how about you guys provide the right update for your customers instead of just a massive 600 meg update that no one would probably notice?

To me it seems that adobe wants to pocket in additional sales and force its previous customers, that even though they paid a lot for their software about 2 years ago, they still need to pay more to upgrade.

Because ADOBE DOESNT WANT TO FIX ITS SOFTWARE ISSUES.

How about you forward this to your boss instead of just looping around the same answer and repeating yourself and wasting my time and everyone elses time that is not really helping anyone?

But not always comments are removed because profanity. Most times it comments don ́t suit they are removed as "off topic". Seems to be a lucky thing the removing tool for this site!

UI Scaling is a new feature in Photoshop CC 2014. CS6 is two full versions behind, and will not get new features.

Again, the UI Scaling on Windows feature was added in Photoshop CC 2014. CS6 is two full versions older than CC 2014, and will not be getting new features.
