P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

How about you guys provide the correct answer instead of sending people to future request pages that doesnt solve my problem at the moment?

Fireworks was an example but photoshop has the same problem and as I see people are going back and forth about this problem on this forum for so long, comments go back to couple years ago.

and you still recommend upgrade to cc 2014? How about you guys fix the problem without asking people to upgrade and pay more.

The software that you sold needs to be fixed. CS6 is not too old and the UI not working properly on high resolution displays creates a problem.

You guys should know better that your customer's base, especially photoshop users might use higher resolution monitors a lot more than average computer users, and you still dont fix your software?

Thats a question you guys need to answer when you charge money for software that is expected to work properly not to sell something and then asking people to upgrade and pay more in order to fix your problem

You are not even answering my question and the answer you provide does not relate to what I am actually asking.

My question is how to fix CS6 on high resolution displays and your answer is to upgrade to a newer version. but in order to upgrade we have to pay more, CORRECT?

So what is your answer knowing that me and probably many other people as well, dont want to upgrade and pay you more in order to fix this problem.

What ever you already sold needs to be fixed. That is the end user license agreement. The software needs to be usable, otherwise you shouldn't charge for it.

So the question is how can you help?

or are you going to loop around the same answer over and over again?????

I am talking about CS6. Why do you have to upgrade when we purchased the the master collection and paid a lot for it?

Are you providing the upgrade for free? I think if you provide the upgrade for free then it would be a fair deal but if you sell a software package and you dont provide a fix for it, which makes it unusable at our end, then you cant expect your customers pay more than what they paid in order to get their software fix on high resolution displays.

Read the official answer. HiDPI support for windows was added in Photoshop CC 2014. Your post was about Fireworks. You can provide feature requests for Fireworks here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/...

Thanks.

If you read all the comments they go back to almost 2 years ago and people complaining about the same issues.

Seriously when are you guys going to fix the user interface problem on high resolution displays?

Gunnar, you know they are not going to fix it. I am going back and forth trying to get an answer for the past 6 months and nothing yet. Its ridiculous.

Their only answer is to upgrade to cc but just like you said I dont recommend that either. you shouldnt upgrade to CC 2014, because other than paying extra and some upgrades you are not going to fix your main problem which is the User Interface on high resolution monitors like 4k.

And I see you guys remove comments just because you dont have an answer to it. That is really disappointing
