P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

I believe Adobe loves Apple instead of Windows... or Apple pays Adobe to let Windows users so they could change for a Mac... the new MacBook pro is 2560-by-1600, yet Photoshop is working properly. It's not fair at all. Adobe, just tell us, the Windows users, to change for a Mac already, don't shut your eyes and ears on us. It's like you don't care at all cause you got all the $$$ and yet we still paying to squint our eyes and to get tired fast.

I dont think that this is a proper solution. See if I open the gradation curve menu. It blocks the hole monitor area.
How long do we have to wait till there will be a solution that will really work?? This work around stuff is more than experimental.

Chris. Thanks for the solution for the UI. It looks like this is also scaling the workspace as well, so not sure if I am taking advantage of the increased resolution capability of my monitor. I play with it in both modes to see how it works.

Windows: Preferences->Experimental Features-> Scale UI 200%

MacOS has supported scaling for Retina displays for quite a while.

Just purchased a high-resolution monitor and the user interface selections are so small that the application is almost unusable. I was able to change the size of the fonts in the drop-down menus so I am surprised that Adobe Photoshop 2014 does not allow the font size of the actual workspace items to be customized as well. Until this is rectified, I will not be able to recommend the application to other photographers.

While this will not be changed for older versions of Photoshop, it has already been addressed in Photoshop CC 2014.

You don't. Return it and buy a 1600x1200 monitor. Adobe will never fix this for CS6 and it will be cheaper than buying creative cloud.

It looks like my posts have been removed. I'm not surprised since they became somewhat redundant after a while.
However, Photoshop CC 2014 now works well on my Lenovo Yoga2 (running Windows 8.1) and I thought I'd take a moment to thank the Adobe design team for providing a solution. I'd also like to thank Chris Daugaard for the detailed instructions.
Thank you both.
..so that's what the menus look like 🙂
