P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

We've had many off topic posts in this discussion, as well as profanity and personal attacks that needed to be removed.

We've already told you exactly what is going on... Please read the previous responses.

Note that many posts are being deleted by the forum operator at Adobe.

That is very, very interesting.

I wonder what they said.

I'll get to the bottom of this, come h e l l or high water. I can't return my CS6 because it's software, nor am I going to use a magnifying glass on my hi-rez monitor.

That's what I thought, but I just wanted to verify that they're not just herding us to their cloud product (and they're not).

Okay, I'm going to see if they'll tell my friend in the industry press what's going on, because what we see happening cannot possibly be what's happening. Stand by for a couple of days...

Personally I never buy something on the promise that it will be fixed in the future. In the computer business software that is promised to be delivered sometime in the future is called "vaporware". Gambling that vaporware will be delivered on time (if ever) has been shown to be a poor gamble.

Since Adobe can not or will not provide even a rough time frame for getting this problem fixed it just may be time to look for alternatives (at least until the problem is resolved satisfactorily). Especially when you consider that allegedly two massive corporations have to work together to solve the problem.

PS: This issue was originally raised 3 years ago (see first post).

I cancelled until they fix this problem. If you are patient enough, and have the disposable income, why not send me some of your extra cash you seem to enjoy throwing away.

I have had CC for 5-6 months and still cannot see the Photoshop icons or type on my Lenovo Yoga2. Should I ask for a refund or continue to wait. No one seems to be willing to address the issue. The forum questions on this problem go back at least to Oct 2013. Tired of waiting....

"Get emotional! Describe how this topic makes you feel.
Pick a face to let everybody know how you feel."
... So we can redact your message on some "off-topic" basis.
All of this nonsense makes for a textbook case on how not to conduct customer relations. When this bubbles up to the Adobe Corporate food chain, some heads will be rolling over this fiascio. If this is not the case, place a sell order with your broker now before the 'melt-down' occurs.

If you read this forum you will see that no versions of PS are usable on high DPI displays. This problem was raised over 3 years ago. So far no resolution. Adobe claims the problem is caused by Microsoft.
