P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

Here is my last reply that was deleted. It shows a 5 point plan that you can do to improve this system. Considering there is nothing that violated your use policy then it will be an abuse to delete it and it will be escalated to Shantanu.

Who is "WE". There is nothing to identify you as an Adobe official! If you are with Adobe then you are paid to read these, we are not. This thread started 3 years ago and people are still returning expensive displays due to this issue. It is a disgrace that a team of hardware engineers can design, prototype, and produce panels of higher resolution than your SW can keep up with!

The real tragedy here is there is 1. No acknowledgment of the issue. 2. No commitment to fix it. 3. No priority. 4. No user feedback of the status of any of the issues we have been reporting to deaf ears for years. 5. Rule #1 of project management, have a due date!

You could have a team of undergraduate do a hackathon and fix this in a night if you were motivated.

It is NOT true that these removed comments are off topic. These comments are directly pertinent, not offensive, or vulgar. They may not be what you want to hear but it is an abuse of the admins power. IF YOU REMOVE THIS COMMENT IT WILL BE ESCALATED TO CORPORATE AND A COPY OF IT WILL BE FORWARDED TO LEGAL.

Because they're off topic, and not contributing to the conversation at hand.
Many are also replying without bothering to read the existing posts and replies.

Why are these reply's being removed? Looks very suspicious and not very democratic.

We are already doing what we can, but Microsoft moves at their own speed.

They can't fix their products because they are too busy redacting the bad news about them. When you go to their "change log" you get a server error. How appropriate!

Chris,

Again, appreciate the reply.

One of us is trying to sell a product, and the other is trying to buy one.

Comments like your last one are indicative of frustration or sheer arrogance. In either case, coming from a supplier, it doesn't instill confidence to the consumer.

Keep it real. This will get fixed eventually. Technology rarely goes backwards. It's been a while since I last used a 10 Mb hard drive or a monochrome monitor.

It would've been nice to see companies the size of Adobe & Microsoft take advantage of lessons learned. Instead we get petty stone throwing.

I've taken your advice and expressed my concerns on Microsoft's support forum. Since I have so much more clout than Adobe, I'm sure Bill will have the guys jump right on it.

In the meantime I'll have to explore my alternatives.

Thank you for your feedback.

may as well stop reading this thread. Pertinent comments are being deleted by the moderator (probably including this comment too).
