The Untouchables: Core Features, Functions, Keyboard Shortcuts - Vote [LOCKED]

Let's list what features, functionality or keyboard shortcuts Adobe Developers should protect...just an idea.
  • What should they consider protecting or avoid adjusting.
  • If they have to change or make adjustments, they should commit the time and resources necessary to maintain the fidelity of the core (protected) version. Putting it back the way the Long-Time time user expects it to behave and react.
  • Consider your current workflow and when it is disrupted.
  • A disruption is anything that forces you into a workflow change or having to update your preferences.

Examples:
The Zoom Tool, Resize Behavior - Holding Shift or Ctrl, Opening a new document in an Artboard or the Original way.

Please Consider Adding or Voting for:
  • Features, Functionality, Keyboard Shortcuts that should be reverted back to the older way.
    • What version of photoshop did it function best in?
    • Try not to duplicate suggestions
    • Upvote all that you feel strongly about.

AND - Upvote this idea as well. We want the developers to pay attention to the community and consider core features that need protection.

Note:
I'm not discouraging new development or change. I'm discouraging disruption of work flow. If for the past 15 years I create a new a document and there's a simple background layer but today there's and Artboard I need to navigate...that's bad. Now, there's an Artboard I need to navigate or go through preferences to see if I can revert the change. Please end this practice for core features, functionality and keyboard shortcuts. Opening a new document should be a core/protected feature, no pop up window, no artboard, nothing to navigate and no preference to adjust.

@amERICax777

The guidelines for posting feature requests is here:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-ideas/how-do-i-write-a-feature-request/idi-p/12384447

There are several points, but note especially this one:

One request per thread:

When creating an Idea or Feature Request thread, please keep requests for features to ONE request per thread. Doing this will allow others to vote on the single, specific feature and not confuse Upvotes amongst a list of feature requests.

If an Idea thread has multiple requests in it, you may be asked by a moderator to split the multiple requests up into multiple threads so others can vote.

Please also read the Community Guidelines from Adobe, especially point #1. Threatening employees or other users will get you banned.

https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/adobe-community-guidelines/td-p/4788157

"To maintain the quality of content and resources on the platform, we don’t allow you to post mature, abusive, or illegal content to Adobe Community, including but not limited to the following:

  • ...
  • Harassment and threats

If you don't want anything to change, your best course of action is to turn off automatic updates.

This thread needs to be locked because you are asking for other users to add all feature requests and bug reports here in your thread, which is exactly the opposite of what Adobe staff is asking us to do.

Please start a new post for each feature request and bug report.

Jane

@amERICax777 Before you start lofting threats - it might be worth reading up on what you've downloaded to determine that there are ways to revert things back to the way they were. Example the Gradient tool - "Classic Gradient" is still there.

@amERICax777 what do you mean the "Selection Tool" - there are several. All of which are still available in Photoshop today.

Gradient Tool in Photoshop - [threat removed] who ever designed the new gradient tool. It's trash put it back the way it was and stop hiring Microsoft Developers.
