Why AVIF is not in Photoshop

Adobe, have you lost your mind? Why doesn't Photoshop offer the AVIF format (outside the Camera Raw plug-in) ? The AVIF format is currently the best format for the web, and Photoshop, the leader in photo processing, doesn't offer it, which is shameful on your part. I think I'm going to unsubscribe and switch to GIMP, which is way ahead of you. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so behind the times on this issue.

The number of votes does not guarantee a (timely) implementation (you may have noticed that the request is originally from 2020) but it should help those Adobe employees who agree with the request make their point with the people holding the purse-strings.

So there is hope …

And you would do well to mind your manners.
