Caption Editing, Styles and Overall Options

Dear Adobe Community,

I am frustrated with Adobe's Caption Editing and Options. How is it that Capcut which costs 70$ per year has more caption styles that are editable and more advanced than Premiere Pro? For Example, it would be great to have a style, where each spoken word is underlaid with a colour or highlighted. Or make it more dynamic. The captions in Premiere are terrible right now. The style options are awful and ugly. Just give me more dynamic options and then let me edit font, colour and text easily.  We don't need more or I'm switching to Capcut.

Thanks!

Let's see ... Capcut is an app built totally around it's doing captions. It has more options, how .... utterly shocking that is.

Not.

Captions are one of the main things of Capcut, while Premiere is a vastly wider ranged full on NLE. There are a ton of things Capcut can't do that Premiere can.

And so Capcut has more options there. Do you complain to the Capcut crowd that it doesn't have Premiere's editing stuff?   😉

And of course, we all would love to have both more caption/grapics tools and toys.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

@Gabriel289083278q50,

The big issue here are animated/dynamic captions. Upvote one or more of the Ideas in this thread:

It is also true that there is no library of non-animated subtitle styles, but the options are robust, and it is easy to save what you create.
