Copy-pasting Time remapping truncates clips in Premiere 2025

When you copy-paste Time Remapping from the Effects Controls (in this case, my time remapping is set to 500%), then it truncates the ends of the clips. No notification is given, it makes it seem like the ends of clips don't exist. The little corner triangles are there so it's impossible to extend the ends of the clips. Premiere 2025.2.3

Thanks yes they are a different duration. I wish that wasn't the behavior. Is there an easier way to apply the same time remapping to all clips?

Hi @juliaeditor - Have you tried right clicking your media file in the timeline and selecting Speed/Duration?

Yes thanks but that doesn't allow for ramping up and down. What I'm looking for is a way to copy the speed effect to footage that's been overcranked so that I can ramp down at key moments in the edit. So for example: I'm working with footage that's been overcranked to 120fps. So I need all clips to start out at 500% speed, and then in the edit be able to ramp back down to 100% speed (slow motion) at key moments.

Hi @juliaeditor -
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?

Did this work correctly for you in a previous version of Premiere.

If the clips you’re copying time remapping to are a different duration than the original, this behavior is expected. Since time remapping changes playback speed, applying it to a shorter or longer clip can cause the ends to be trimmed without warning.

This is important when you're working on an action scene in film or commercial where the framerate has been overcranked so that you can speed ramp. Premiere should have better speed ramping functionality.
