I use PrPro and AE on Windows 10 for most editing, but I noticed that unlike other similar programs like Photoshop and Sony Vegas, there is no light mode toggle. There is a way to enable it in settings, but some elements look a bit weird and out of place. I would love to have this feature natively, it makes editing during the daytime and light enviroments much nicer. I've attached an image of what it looks like when enabled through the unofficial settings.  

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place as it's not really a new feature. I was wondering whether adobe is planning to launch a user friendly video app, something that can speed up the creation of simple/middle-complex videos, in the likes of filmora or cap cut. As of today the CC only includes Premiere pro (which has a very poor ux and is too time consuming for most videos aimed at social media) and premiere rush (which has ridicolous limitations in terms of video/audio tracks).My disappointmnet is that I have to pay another app (filmora in my case) to compensate for the lack of a usable tool - pretty much the same that happens when I pay canva to compensate for adobe express.Also I wanted to swtich to premiere pro so that I could also do audio editing with the same tool, but considering the amount of time it takes to perform every single task, it's still way faster if I open my daw, do the audio and then import it in the video app.Thanks for sharing any news on this, and please f

When working on a video project, I often have at least a hundred B-roll clips, sometimes many more. I will often need to produce several videos from that B-roll, all on separate sequences. In this case, it is very difficult to keep track of which clips I have already used or not. More than that, I may often use several sections of a clip as different shots in a sequence(s). This is very difficult to keep track of, and a huge time waster. This is the case with most projects that I work on, but as an (extreme) example, let's say I am working on a 10-minute horse video. I have 300 B-roll clips. It doesn't take long before every horse looks the same, and it is a nightmare trying to work out what I have already used. The way that I look through all the B-roll clips is to put them into a separate sequence(s). I then load that sequence in the Source Monitor and select "Load Sequence in Timeline." This allows me to see the sequence in the timeline while it is still loaded in the Sour

To help ensure that your work is always going to be protected and your progress won't get lost in the midst of a crash, I believe it can be very beneficial to have the option to autosave every action in Premiere Pro. This is means every mouse click, keypress, macro, etc. Setting your Premiere preferences to autosave very frequently is nice (I have mine set to every 5 minutes). However, competing editing platforms have offerred the feature of autosaving every action and it really does come in handy and it doesn't interfere with the editor's workflow. The current autosaving system can still remain. Overall, I personally believe it can be very useful to have the option to autosave every action as some editors would love to have the peace of mind that their work and progress will never get lost when a crash occcurs.

We would like to be able to ask for the active camera used in a multicamera clip in a timeline, at the moment this is not possible per ExtendScript. 

QuickTime MOV is a wonderful video container. One of the benefits of MOV over MP4 is that it can support uncompressed audio.   In Premiere Pro's 2024.1 Beta (as of this post), there is a new codec option for exporting to MOV. Editors can now export to H.264 in the MOV container.   I personally would highly recommend also adding HEVC to this list as well. Not only is it possible to encode and decode HEVC videos in QuickTime MOV, but HEVC is also a superior codec than H.264 with greater encoding efficiency as well as preserving image quality better than H.264.   I would really love to have the abiltiy to export to HEVC while having uncompressed audio in my render. This can help with uploading to video hosting platforms that may compress the audio a lot to make it easier to stream to audiences at lower bandwidths. Exporting to HEVC in the MOV container will help preserve the audio quality and can make for a higher quality deliverable video file for clients.   Competing

Hi everyone,Is it possible to have a format in Premiere that allows interactive videos? For ex: I have a main video that throws an overarching view of my new platoform, and then individual videos that explain each component of the platform as different videos. Say 1 main menu video and 6 sub videos. Just like how DVD screens were authored, is there any way we can do this in Premiere? or in any other app? How to go about this? Just have a timeline or a workflow that calls out the different videos as they are requested. ThanksJohn

Could you integrate grammaly in the new version of adobe story? It will be a very useful feature, that way I will not need to copy paste my scripts to Microsoft Word in order to correct my grammatical errors.Thank you!

I'd like Adobe could implement a standalone free proxy converter for Premiere Pro, like Blackmagic has it.My workflow depends a lot of proxies, since my files are always starting from 4k to higher res and I work a lot with heavy files.Here is my editing workflow. The raw footage cames from outside on cards, I ingest these cards to a NAS and convert proxies using a server computer. This proxies goes to a folder on the server that mirrors de NAS structure folder.Editors then inport raw footage and attach the proxies from that especific folder.The server does this 24/7, avoiding the loss of time from editors to do this manually every time they import footage.I would like to see some standalone tool from Adobe that could make this convertions, appending the _Proxy to file names and producing theses files already with proxy markers.

Why would I want this "sync settings" bar to take up an entire row of vertical screen space? This is totally unnecessary and needs to be removed by default.

This update is completely unnecessary for most users, takes up valuable vertical screen real estate and it is UNMOVEABLE? Please go back to the old layout options asap.

Hey fellow editors, Is anyone else frustrated with Premiere Pro's limitation of displaying only one captions track at a time in the program monitor? It's been years, and this hasn't been addressed! The Problem:Can't see multiple subtitle tracks at once and edit them together at once (You can currently only view/ edit one track at a time, Premiere always disables the other subtitle tracks). This makes subtitle creation tedious, in an ever-demanding subtitled-videos environment.  Current workarounds are time-consuming, frustrating and inefficient (nesting subtitles into invisible-video-tracks if you ever want to show more than one subtitle track on your video, third-party plugins, specialized Ai-subtitling websites that have more subtitle flexibility etc.) What We Need: Toggle visibility for all subtitle tracks at the same time.Intuitive management in the interface = Just like we can with video/audio clips, we also need to be able to move captions around, between subt

I have been using Premiere since 2001.  One thing in particular has always bugged me, and this is still the case in CC 2023.  After I create a new project, when I go to import media - either directly or using the media browser, Premiere defaults to looking in the last folder I used to import media, which is always the previous project I worked on.  I don't want it to do that.  I want Premiere to default to the folder of the project I'm currently working on when importing media.  Likewise, if I am exporting media from a project directly from Premiere, the default location to save the file is the last place I saved a file, usually in the folder of the previous project I worked on.  At least Media Encoder has the good sense to save to my current project folder by default.  Why can't Premiere do this at the other stages of a project?

I want to use clock wipe video transition, but I cann't find clock wipe in video transition list in macOS. Under wipe folder, there are only 4 options:  1. Barn Doors 2, Gradient Wipe  3. Inset 4. Wipe.    How to get the clock wipe transition effect? 

Could you finally allow us to keyframe text tracking, leading and font size? This is certainly a long-lasting topic. Jumping to After Effects should not be the way to do this since it seems the dialogue box is already there, but it's just not hooked up to code yet. See screenshot below.  

Hi, I am a translator and Swedish is my native language.I wish to offer enhancing the transcribe function of Premiere Pro by submitting manually transcribed videos to Adobe. This will allow the software to learn and enhance its transcription feature for Swedish.I am requesting nothing in return, except for the possibility that transcription will be improved. 🙂Is there any way to offer this help to Adobe?

Hi to all, will we ever see the function "Sky Replacement" video in Premiere Pro, I think that it would be amazing!

Title says it. Currently only 12 speakers can be tracked, then any additional speakers are stacked on top of speakers 1, 2, 3, 4 at intervals of 10 speakers each. For feature length documetnaries where you may have way more speakers than that , it would be great to expand the number of speakers that are able to be tracked for script tracking and revisions.

Solo audio track/s with shortcut. It would be good if you could select a clip in the timeline and then using a shortcut (lets say option+S) it then solos that track. I find when editing, it helps to be able to quickly solo tracks so that you can concentrate on individual elements and then unsolo to hear the results. This is merely to petition Adobe to add a "Never show this dialog box again" button added to the "This action will delete existing keyframes. Do you want to continue?" dialog box when it comes up.It needs to be optional, as it hinders workflow.

Add an icon to auto-resize the timeline to the user's screen's full width. It's a pain having to adjust it manually with that weird horizontal scroll bar below the timeline.

Hi, It would be usefull to have generative fill added to Premiere Pro. As a video producer and editor, generative fill in Premiere Pro would solve issues when using older footage that is 4:3 without using borders etc. Please consider adding this feature. Thank you, [Removed by Mod]

Let's say I remove a clip from the beginning of my sequence, then I scroll all the way to the end of my sequence so that I can no longer see the beginning of it. If I hit undo, the playhead SHOULD jump back to the top of the sequence. But it doesn't, it stays where it is. This is terrible because it's very easy to undo something and not even know it. Also, if you're undoing something, it stands to reason you want to go back to that point. So the playhead should follow undo. Just like it does in Avid. And don't get me wrong, I am a Premiere convert, but Undo is something Avid does better.  The other thing is Undo should only undo sequence events. It should never undo things like copying a sequence or renaming something. There are a million times where I'm working on a show, I do a bunch of edits and then I think "oh, maybe I should save a copy of this sequence from before I did all these things." Plese can you add a menu option to run scripts directly inside Premiere, with a folder to keep them in so the user's custom scripts show in the menu. After Effects has had this for years and scripts can dramatically increase the efficiency of workflow for professionals and novice users alike. There are varous buggy workarnounds - please can you make it easier for your users. Davinci Resolve lets users run Python scripts. Plese can we get better support for scripting in Premiere, for ExtendScript/javascript etc.
