mute source audio button

I too, have wanted this feature since I started editing 5 years ago. "Its probably in the next update" - I'd tell myself. Now I find myself in the fetal position rocking back and forth in the shower until this gets added.

Definitely a must when scrubbing through a ton of b roll.

How the (@$#% hasn't this been added already?! It's such as SIMPLE request, and it's so easy to understand the benefits of this! While you can mute the Source Monitor using the Audio Clip Mixer, that window takes about 1000x more screen real estate than a tiny mute icon in the Source Monitor would. Furthermore, if the clip has several audio channels, it should be possible to mute individual tracks so that you can focus on the track that has the relevant audio.

Very frustrating that Adobe has yet to implement this simple but necessary functionality.

I need this desperately, not muting the whole app, not disabling scrubbing audio, not turning down all my clips audio, just... simply... muting the source panel audio ONLY! Dear lord why can't adobe do this, how many years have customers been requesting this?!!!

Have you ever heard timecode blasting through your ears? Would be nice to have "Audio Channels" button in source monitor so you could mute (Tentacle Sync) timecode written on one of the two stereo channels. Would def. increase ease of use while going through dailies and drag 'n drop on the timeline.
