I think I figured it out! If we can collectively cast a "love spell" maybe we can make Adobe fall in love with their users and actually listen to what we are saying instead of only falling in love with the $$$$$

True Story. It is a waste of screen space, where the space it takes up on screen is far more than the option(s) will be used. And if they were used substantially than 1) there are keyboard shortcuts that get there faster or 2) there are menu options that get there faster. So yeah, the bar is neither a solution, or a help.
But it is taking up space that used to be less cluttered and allowed me to focus more on the work. Adobe seems to be making a point to make it less and less about getting work done, and more about being in Adobe. Davinci Resolve is a real solution to this problem.

It would be cool to have the option to show/hide this bar. Upvoted.

It's like they want to be iMovie. This is a professional editing suite, not a bit of software for kids. Why do I need this extra clutter on my display? Between this and the export window I wonder if Adobe have subcontracted their UI design to Fisher Price!

PLEASE GET RID OF THIS. It's super frustrating for us long time users who utilize tabs in the source window. Im about to gaff tape my friggin monitor.
