Saving captions / subtitle styles in Creative Cloud library

It would be nice to save caption sytles from premiere pro to a Creative Cloud library to share it to others.

If I get it right, it should be enough to "allow" *.prtextstyle files to be uploaded into a library.

Hi @Stan Jones

yes I do. But there might be others, not knowing this is possible. So it's good to mention.

@Kes Akalaonu thank you for your help - and this what I do. The thing is, it's a large company located around the world. Having two locations to store stuff is already to complicated. And I have to push inform all people if there are updates.

So unlocking this file type for CC Libraries would be a perfect solution - and I'm sure it's not a big thing to do so.

MoClip,

As Kes says, sharing the style files is easy enough - and yes, not as easy as it will be when supported by the library.

I have assumed, but want to be sure, that you are saving all the styles you need in one .prtextstyle file. For a discussion of various text style issues see this post:

I understand you want them in the Creative Library which I believe is the roadmap for this feature. In the meantime, you can export text styles from Premiere Pro and save it to a local dropbox or share site for anyone to download at their own convenience.

Yes, this is what I do. But textstyles aren't supported yet. So I opened this idea request.

For distributing there's the shared Library function of the Adobe CC system.

You set up a CC Library, share it with that client's staff, and anything you put in it then appears in their CC Library panel in Premiere.

That's already great.
I need this for sharing it to a customer and his employees. So unfortunately, this isn't the perfect solution for me, yet.

Kes,

That new style section ... with thumbnails!!!!!!!!!! ... is freaking amazing! Thanks, this will make such a nifty pattern now for checking, saving, and applying Styles!
