Its so very limited language that adobe premiere offer to use auto transcribe, there are lots of application that offer almost complete language for auto transcribe..

cmon adobe, its already 2025.. i hate to use third party for transribing then coming back to premiere..

It's been years since the auto transcription feature appeared in premiere pro and for years adobe premiere pro users from Indonesia and Malaysia have asked adobe to add Indonesian & Malaysian language features but the adobe team has never paid attention. Video editing applications on mobile phones such as Capcut & filmora can only include the Indonesian & Malaysian auto caption feature. Imagine a new team of software developers can make an effort where their software is free and if paid the price is much cheaper than adobe premiere pro. come on adobe team that simple feature can't be entered, we pay a lot of money, how come such trivial things you can't do.

I have been eagerly anticipating the addition of a Speech-to-Text feature in Bahasa Indonesia since Premiere Pro 2021. However, it seems this feature has yet to be introduced.

Does Premiere Pro have any plans to incorporate this functionality? With the recent Creative Cloud discount offered in Indonesia, I’ve noticed many of my peers returning to Premiere Pro as their primary editing software. I believe that adding a Speech-to-Text feature in Bahasa Indonesia would attract even more users to transition from other editing software to Premiere Pro.

I would like to request the addition of Bahasa Indonesia to Premiere Pro's Speech to Text feature. Indonesia has a rapidly growing video content creation industry, from YouTubers to small businesses, and many of us rely on captions to make our content more accessible. However, generating captions in Indonesian currently requires the use of third-party software, which is not always efficient or convenient.

At the moment, CapCut, one of your competitors, has made their auto-caption feature a Pro-only option, limiting access for many content creators. This opens up a great opportunity for Adobe Premiere Pro to provide a valuable tool by supporting more languages like Bahasa Indonesia.

By expanding the language options, Premiere Pro can empower more creators in Indonesia to create high-quality, accessible content without having to use external tools. I believe this would greatly benefit both the users and the Adobe ecosystem.
