Element Button when using object selection tool

I would like to be able to create elements when using the object selection tool and be able to add it to my library.  When the mouse hovers over an object it highlights it and you can select it. At that point I would like an option to click an element button and have it add  that object as an element to my library. If i could do this across all app that would be great.

Thank you.

    @OWLTAR

    You’re welcome, Tar!

    On my first try, I attempted to include the mp4. Ten minutes later the three dots were still spinning and I tried again without the video.

    We have new forum software and I know there is a size limit on attachments. You were able to include it here though, so that makes no sense.

    Hi Tar,

    I’ve posted your feature request here:

    https://community.adobe.com/feature-requests-713/element-button-when-using-object-selection-tool-1631668

    When I tried to include the .mp4 file, I was unsuccessful. I let the three dots to the right flicker for more than five minutes, then gave up.

    You might want to reply to confirm it is your post and not mine.

    I am truly baffled and don’t understand why you can’t post to the Photoshop forum.

    Do you want me to make the post in your name? With your permission, I can try that.

    Unfortunately, no one on the Aero forum can assist, and moderators can’t move posts (yet).

    So I can try to replicate your issue, you are starting in Photoshop and going to the Help menu? Is that correct?

    The link I gave you a couple of hours ago should work to get to the PS forum. Or you can use this one which will tag your post as a Feature Request:

    Thank you for your help. yes i started in the photoshop app and clicked the feedback button followed by the request feature. i went through the process again and still i am unable to post in the photoshop forum. i also tried what you suggested to use the orginal post, i linked it to the photoshop forum but that did not work either. i even tried submitting  on two different PCs but got the same error on both PCs. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be, thank you though.

    This is the Adobe Aero forum. Aero does not have an object selection tool.

    You’ll need to repost to the Photoshop forum. Here’s the link:
