Adobe Sign should allow you to clone/duplicate an existing template so you don't have to build a new one from scratch.
Adobe Sign Template Management -
Adobe Sign users should be able to duplicate their existing templates to make variations. They should not have to build a new template from scratch. This is a basic product feature that everyone expects. It is like a ‘Save As’ on a Word Doc or Excel. DocuSign has this feature and I expect feature parity from Adobe Sign if you hope to compete as an enterprise level software.
Functionality -
From the existing template, under ACTIONS, you should have Use Template, Edit Template, and ‘Duplicate Template.’ Once you click on the Duplicate Template link, you should have a Duplicate Template modal w/ an option to name the new template. You can set the default name to ‘(COPY) Name of the file’ and have a CANCEL and SAVE button. Upon SAVE, a new screen appears w/ the template ready to edit. Upon CANCEL, the modal is dismissed.
When you’re ready to iterate on this feature, the Duplicate Template modal can have more options with the template type and who can use this template, but for the first iteration, just give us the ability to duplicate the template. Keep it simple.
By the way, I kept trying to attach annotated screenshots for your reference, but your attach file feature here doesn’t work.
