Hi Adobe,I got here after clicking a lot of things, I hope I'm at the right place - direct contact options seem to be limited.Is there a response from Adobe with regards to the Meltdown and Spectre attacks? As flash usually runs in the browser I presume that Meltdown and Spectre attacks are possible? A high precision timer seems to be available in Flash, so that would normally enable these kind of attacks.Could you please indicate if you're vulnerable and ways of mitigating the risk if this is the case? We had the latest version of Flash Player installed and it is causing an issue with our Flash based Production applications.  We have a few Flashbased applications (Internal Applications) that when you hit the main application url the user is now presented with a big Play button on the screen.  After the user clicks the play button the application page loads in some applications, in others the main page never loads properly after clicking play.                  Not all users are getting the same behavior yet everyone is one same version of Windows 7 and IE 11.  I can reproduce the issue using my local instance of thebrowser but when I hit the same URL through Citrix the main application page loads properly (same IE 11 browser version)                 Here is an example of what the user sees when hitting the application

On my widows 10 computer flash player will not play sound in google chrome it does however play sound in Microsoft edge but i prefer chrome. It will play videos and games just fine but for some reason its just the audio it wont play it mostly frustrating on you tube because its boring to have to read sub titles. I have also read other posts with this problem none were helpful. if any one can provide a solution it would be very much appreciated.

i have been using opera with my flash player for months without a bug or problem. with the last uptade it started not to work. in some sites, there is a puzzle icon and it says "click here to activate adobe" and when i click nothing happens. i looked out for some fixes but could not find anything. and also my opera lets adobe work in any site. anyone know how to fix the bug?[moderator: added opera version to title]

I have windows 7 and I cannot get adobe to work.  I have installed it 5 times, but I cannot find any adobe file in my downloads or elsewhere after the installer finishes.  The installer appears in the downloads while it is downloading, but then it deletes itself upon completion.  When I check my current version on Adobe it says that I have the latest Flash Player installed.   But my video game has a white screen and when I right click it, it says: movie not loaded...         Check for updates...          About Adobe Flash Player 28.0.0.161...I have managed add-ons.  It is enabled.  Please advise.  I cannot figure out the issue.[moderator: edited title to more accurately reflect issue being reported]

Flash player starts automatically on my browser even though its uninstalled from device , also, browser settings have been set to ask first before turning on flash player which i NEVER require, but it still starts running without permission, how do i get rid of it?I also have uninstalled adobe reader, i still keep seeing adobe temp file on my device, how to stop that? What else is there from adobe on my device?

Good Afternoon,We are experiencing the following issue while trying to test a Flash application on Windows 10 while using JAWS:A Flash application uses “ExternalInterface.call” to call a JavaScript function and passes an argument of a URL string. The JavaScript function uses “window.open” to open a new browser window with the URL. This causes Internet Explorer 11 to freeze and display the following message “A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” Both the base screen that has the Flash file and the popup refresh.This issue only occurs while using JAWS, Windows 10, Flash, and IE11. This does not happen on Windows 7.Specs of Computer with issue:Windows 10IE 11JAWS 2018Flash Player Version 28.0.0.161

when i press a button in flash i input information into an datagrid. But if i place the datagrid on another frame and press the button and then switch to the frame the datagrid is on it doesnt show information. If i have it on the same frame it shows the information when i press the button. How can i make the datagrid keep the information on another frame?

MY CHROME, FLASH PLAYER, ETC IS ALL UP TO DATE BUT ONE APP ON FACEBOOK ALWAYS GIVES ME THE 'UNSECURE' MESSAGE AND KEEPS ME FROM LOADING MY GAME.  I HAVE TRIED TO CONVEY TO THE TECH REP TEAM THAT THE ISSUE STEMS FROM ONE OF THEIR ADVERTS BUT THEY KEEP GIVING ME THE RUNAROUND.  THE APP IS FARMVILLE1 AND THE ADVERT IS FROM CHART 10.  CAN ANYONE HELP OR GIVE ME A WORKAROUND.  I'VE DONE ALL THE TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS (BTW - I TYPE CAPS B/C OF NERVE DAMAGE, IT'S LESS PAINFUL THAN USING UPPER AND LOWER CASE) AND HAVE 35+ YEARS OF TECH SUPPORT/CODING/ETC UNDER MY 64+ Y/O BELT.  STILL CANNOT FIGURE THIS ONE OUT.

I have tried re-applying (via the online form) for the distribution license for Adobe Flash player and as yet I've had no response from Adobe. Can someone please tell me if Adobe have stopped allowing distribution of Flash Player.[moderator: edited title for accuracy]

I have Windows XP. I have tried now for probably over a year to update Adobe Flash Player. I am reminded almost every time I turn on the computer. And every time I try to update I get this message, "Application Initialization Error" and the only thing I can do it click the "Finish" button. And now, per the instructions of so-called 'experts' at a website I visit, I un-installed the version that was on my computer and, as a result, i don't have Flash Player installed and it cannot be installed. I use both Chrome and Firefox as browsers.Is there something that can be done to install Flash Player on my computer? Or am I totally out of luck?Thank you for your help.

With the latest Flash Player installed, you can upload multiple files. Download it from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.In my localhost application.Please find the snap shot of issue.

Why are we not given the option of not including google chrome with adobe flash player?

Is there any way to run the flash update without having to install McAfee?? I have my own antivirus program that I use and am uninterested in having to uninstall this program every time I need to update Flash.... Seriously, Adobe, what the heck?
