When I try to use my cell phone synch software disk it tells me to get the latest version of falsh player. i have downloaded, and uninstalled many times. Sometimes it says it was successful, but then when I try to use the disk it says i don't have the latest version of Flash. Can you help?

We prefer to test and deploy new versions of Adobe Flash Player and thus prefer to not have Adobe prompt the end-user for automatic updates. We accomplished this in the past with a setting in mms.cfg and also a registry value. Apparently, sometime in the past year, Adobe must have changed the values that control automatic update behavior.Does anyone know how to disable the prompting? I need to find a solution as the prompts are driving Service Desk calls.

(In advance, please excuse me when I make mistakes with terminology; I'm totally new to this.)Using Windows10 Home Version 1709.Windows64-bit,English, I've tried with the same results using Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox browsersAdobe Flash Player version 27.0.0.187Well, for the past couple of weeks I haven't been able to broadcast or even establish a connection with websites after the Flash Player Settings open requesting permission for the website to access my camera and microphone. This is the instructions from one of the websites I'm having trouble with. Nothing is clickable except "Next Step".When I click "Next Step", I'm carried through a couple more instruction pages thenNow, you can see it's the same in different browsers. When I click "allow" the dialogue immediately closes but doesn't actually let me adjust any settings, and I just get a "Can't connect to the website" messageIn Chrome it looks like this and there's a speed test in the above pic you
I've just discovered that in the latest ("Quantum") version of Firefox, attempting to remove a previously added trusted location locks up the Settings Manager 100% of the time. It still works from IE. I attempted to file a bug report, but the bug report form is itself bugged-- you can't submit anything because it refuses to populate the Browser dropdown list. This is on a Windows 10 64-bit systems, running Flash Player 27.Anyone else encountered this? Anyone know where on the Adobe site to report a bug in the bug report form?

I was tasked with offering suggestions on improving existing formatted business reports. The client is using Flash 11, which appears to be woefully outdated and may lead to security vulnerabilities easily hacked. If Flash 11 is NOT good for business reports, what application or version should I recommend using?

I use Opera on Windows 10 64 bit. I play games which require flash like Farmville but I don't know if i need the stand alone flash player or not since I was told that Opera has its own build in flash. I am able to play farmville but I have tried to download the flash player but every time I check it on the adobe site it says its not installed but it shows up in my control panel. How am I suppose to change settings and delete websites I have visited from the Website Storage Settings panel when it tells me I need flash in order to use it. The adobe website to check to see if flash is installed says I don't have it but it appears in my control panel. Do I actually need the stand alone version if I have Opera. Could you please clear this up. Thank you.

I am stumped...In the advanced settings window of Edge...my flash player is showing 'enabled' but when I troubleshoot in the Adobe Help window and click on the 'test' icon it shows that it is 'disabled' I am trying to play Angry birds on facebook and I am getting a message that I need Flashplayer 11 or higher. Can't find a solution anywhere!!! Help please
Ever since flash player 26 this started happening to me. If I open a flash game in a new tab to let it load while I continue browsing, when I go to the tab it has a (usually) white "overlay" over the flash content. It's easily dispelled when I open the settings but it's growing annoying. It only happens on Firefox. Only with flash content, and only when loaded in an inactive tab. I've never had this issue before flash 26. Been hoping it will fix itself. But despite major updates in both flash and Firefox the problem persists.
I downloaded Flash Player a few days ago (together with a McAfee product) and it appeared to install OK - although there was nothing to confirm this other than the McAfee which I've uninstalled because I don't need it. However, although I can see Adobe Flash Player 27 PPAPI in Add or Remove Programs as v27.0.0.187 I can't see it in the Programs list on my PC (Win 7 Pro). Moreover, Flash Player doesn't run when I access items which need it. Why is this?My browser is Chrome v62Any advice will be welcomed.Tks in anticipation
I tried to run Adobe Flash Player.app silently using this command from a process launched from a LaunchDaemon"/Volumes/Flash Player/Install Adobe Flash Player.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Flash Player Install Manager" -install"Process gets stuck with this message"_RegisterApplication(), FAILED TO establish the default connection to the WindowServer, _CGSDefaultConnection() is NULL."This problem occurs only when I try to run this command with No Users Logged in. At other times, it works perfectly.Any Suggestions? Root Cause?
Maria,I have made several unsuccessful attempts to download Flash on my Mac. I quit Safari as part of the installation process; however, every time I try to use the application I receive the following message:Adobe Flash plug-in is disabled or you have an old version installed. To start this assessment you need Flash plug-in 9 (or above).
I went thru the steps of setting up my computer's preferences....what next?
I am running Flash Player on Windows 10 version 1703. I have Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0 and I can't get Flash Player to enable. I go to settings and it shows Flash Player as "ON" but when I go to Adobe and test it shows that it is disabled. I don't have a puzzle piece in my address bar nor is there a ‘Download Flash’ or ‘Enable Flash’ link/button. How can I enable flash player.
In the Flash Player 20 admin install guide under "App Installer for Macintosh" the directions for silent install are as follows""Run the installer contained in the .app file using the following command:"sudo ./Install Adobe Flash Player.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Flash Player Install Manager -installThe only problem is that there is no "Adobe Flash Player Install Manager" in the "/Install Adobe Flash Player.app/Contents/MacOS/" directory. Therefore the install fails.Did Adobe forget to put the Install Manager in the FlashRemote20 package?Thank you

Starting a few weeks ago, whenever I try to go to any website that uses Flash on Firefox, I get the error screen "The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed. Reload the page to try again."I figured it was a temporary issue, but when Firefox updated and it didn't fix the issue, I tried some troubleshooting.I tried completely uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 27 NPAPI and reinstalling.I tried completely uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling.Checked Internet Explorer 11. It works there.Tried my laptop, and found the same version of Flash on the same version of Firefox works fine.I'm using Windows 10 Home.If I go to Flash Player Help on Step 5 it gives the same error there as on any other webpage I try with Flash.Any ideas what could have caused this problem?
I am using IE Windows 10. playing pogo and suddenly it says my adobe is outdated. But I am not finding a way to update my adobe, and I can't seem to bring up the "global settings" like the troubleshooting webpage mentions. How can I fix this?
(moderator: added os and browser to title)I am using Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. My Internet connection is slow and so I was doing the trouble shooting that my Network provider recommended. First they said to see if you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. I went to Adobe's website to check to see if I have the latest version. First it wanted to "Test Flash Player". When I ran the test it said Flash Player was disabled. I went thru the routine to enable it, but it was already enabled! My first question is Flash Player enabled, or not? That was as far as I could go to determine if I had the latest version.
I have tried all the ways this stupid website tells me to and it still does not work! I am trying to email someone but cannot seem to find a way to contact a human being for the company of Flash Player. I need flash player to work, I use it to upload my books to Createspace and it keeps telling me I don't have the right version to use it. Then when I click on it, it takes me to ADOBE and tells me to start a free trial for photos for so much each month... (NO thanks just want the goddamn player to actually work not download more rubbish). If someone can please help me will be much appreciated.
You can't install Flash Player unless you read dozens of pages of License Agreement.Surely this is unreasonable? Most people don't have time for that. I'm a very slow reader so I normally just scan-read License Agreements and search for the aspects which concern me. I simply don't have time to read the whole thing and I don't think most people will.To make things worse, the License Agreement is difficult to find, and the installer dialog is 'always on top' which makes it hard to even see the License Agreement beneath. Is there any way to install Flash Player without having to read the License Agreement? Most programs only require you to accept the Agreement rather than reading them. Also, surely this is encouraging users to lie? I'm a very honest person but even I have thought about saying I'd read the Agreement without reading it all. It's just an unreasonable thing to demand that people read it all. Basically Adobe is corrupting people's morals by forcing slow readers to lie.It sucks.
