Flash Player (read-only)

A games company who run browser and mobile games called 'Plarium' use flash currently, they have not bothered to switch to HTML5 for browser games.  Instead after Jan 1st and beyond they are going to continue use their own installer which uses adobe pepperflash extension. Is this safe? and also what will happen on Jan12th killswitch to apps using pepperflash extension? Thanks

Hi, at first i like to back you pardon for my bad english knowledge. English isnt my native language. Ok, here we go: You will block execution of flash content in the player from 12.01.2020 on. I own some Hardware (a NAS for example) which is administrated by a flash interface in AVM2/Actionscript3. Blocking execution of flash content will lock me out of my hardware, leaving it unadministrable to me. Manufacturer of the hardware isnt offering new firmare/driver to exchange the flash interface. Is there any possibility to grant access to my properties? Will it be possible to use flashplaver in a private network for example without access to the internet? Will you offer a guide to build such an environment to help people to keep and use their hardware instead of discard valuable resources in times where our planet suffer from wasting valuable resources? SincerlyUdo

Hi everybody !WHY is there NO e-mail address for contacting Adobe for support ?????Isn't it so easy ? My foster son has started video visits with his bio dad who is incarcerated. We're required to use Jpay, which was kind of working this summer, but now I can't get the video to work. The audio is fine, but no video. I have updated everything, checked all the settings, but it won't work anymore.  I'm using a Samsung chromebook to connect, and I've ruled out its a hardware issue, as I zoom with it multiple times weekly. 

I've uninstalled Flash. I noticed I can't attach photos from my computer (iMac) to my email (safari). I can drag and drop, but this makes the photos so large, it takes up too much room.I'm assuming this is what the problem is...no more Flash, but what's the solution?

When I take the step to delete files in certain directories, it says I need permission from Trusted Installer.  What the heck is that and what can I do?

I always get this message...This content requires Adobe Flash Player, which is not supported by your device. In past used flash player everywhere I used to play flash games but today I find very little of them.

A partir de principios del año que viene necesito que mi pcs sigan teniendo el funcionamiento de Adobe Flash garantizado ya que nos es necesario para el funcionamiento diario de uno de los servicios a los que realizo. Y utilizo chrome que podria hacer en este caso? Alguna alternativa? o puedo seguir utilizando adobe flash el proximo año tambien?

I still use Windows 7 Home Premium, which works fine and meets all my needs.  I do NOT want to uninstall Adobe Flash.  Is it dangerous for me to just leave it there?

When I try to use the Flash Manager to uninstall Flash from my Mac Book, I'm asked if I will authorize a helper tool download. What is this and is it safe?I'm getting all sorts of conflcting info about how to do the uninstall.HelP!!! 

I am trying to disable hardware acceleration for Adobe Flash player because I am no longer able to enlarge videos in Firefox(Note, I can still enlarge in Edge).  I am running the latest version of Firefox, and Windows 10.  Advice I have seen thus far recommends disabling hardware acceleration as a first troubleshooting step by navigating to the Adobe flash help webpage, righ clicking on the Flash logo and selecting "settings".  When I right click on the logo, however, there is no "settings" option to select.  How can I alternatively access Flash settings so that I can disable hardware acceleration?

I have attempted to download the uninstaller (based on the Flash pop-up from Adobe, notifying that Flash is no longer supported as of 12/31... The link takes me to an option to sign-up for Adobe Acrobat Pro (NOTHING about Flash Uninstall)!I then went to the chat window... who eventually referred me here to the community.  Wonderful help, Adobe...  I'm simply attempting to do what you tell me to do... but...   I tried to download the uninstall "helper"...  but it will not open...  and again, the "chat" representative was no help aside from sending me here.

Since the Flash Player is done, I can't open hyperlink from any apps(like Calendar, E-Mail, etc) since apparenty, Flash Player allowed it for to work. How do I fix it? I have Window 10 if it helps.

My computer (macOS 10.15.7) still has Adobe Flash CS3 (and Flash CS3 Video Encoder) installed (though not used, as I gave Adobe up when they moved to a subscription model). Do I have to uninstall this and, if so, how? The only uninstaller I have found, under /Utilities/Adobe Installers, is 'Add or Remove Creatiive Suite 3 Master Collection' which, unsurprisingly, brings the message '"setup.app" needs to be updated' when I run it. Can I just delete the associated Adobe files? What other stuff will be left lying around? Are there other places where I must look for Flash files, browsers, AIR, etc.?
