Flash Player (read-only)

since flash player will no longer be working what should i use instead?

I was told by someone who advises me about my Mac to post this question here as they were stumped. I keep getting a window that pops up saying "To use the "java" command tool you need to install a JDK. Click "more info..." to visit the Java Developer Kit download website." Then it has an OK buttom and a More info button. I'm not a developer and I don't even know what a JDK is or why this is popping up. I'm running Mac Catalina 10.15.7 This window has been popping up for over a year, about every half hour I'm on the computer. PLEASE! Someone tell me how to disable it. Thank you.

adobe, can you make a sucessor to adobe flash player

As far as I know, Adobe Flash is still required to watch TV broadcasts or see the viewing schedule from a computer monitor.  Seems Xfinity/Comcast are planning to use it way past the ending date.  Is that safe? BTW, they are a fairly big broadcast outfit in the US with more than 100 non-robotic staff.

I have just updated adobe flash player since my browser requested it and found that adobe has installed McAfee without me opting in to do so. I am furious about it, and can only refer to a previous discussion point copied in here. Why does Adobe do this it will drive customers away in their droves.I have experienced this as well. I'm not going to give any screen shots. What I am going to do, is say that I've been using photoshop since 5, and been a creative cloud subscriber and defender since the first version. I got an email from adobe to install a flash update, which I did, after navigating to adobe on my own to make sure there was no malware attack. I then installed a flash update, from your site. A day later, mcafee is installed on my computer, without any permission given by me.I don't give a flying f- if you have an 'opt out' option in there, and it was somehow hidden by ad blocking. With Flash dying on Jan. 12, I was wondering if the Adobe Flash Projector will still work after the EOL date, since I have some SWF files of games that haven't been coverted to html5.

I want to make a complaint. Your good company authorised Zhong Cheng Network ("this company") to distribute Flash Player and provide customer service support in mailand China. But this company implanted Trojain Virus into Flash player and force user to install annother software which often popup and collect user information without user permission. Users cannot uninstall this popup software and cannot use a clean Flash Player. Please do withdraw authorisation from this company, and select a trustable distributor in China. If you want to know more about what I am complaining, pleae search "Flash 流氓代理" on internet. Hello Adobe. I know that my request is like a drop in the ocean, but you can always try. I would like to ask you not to close Adobe Flash Player, because a lot of very good programs and games were made on it and not everyone wants his creation to go into oblivion, so I just want to ask him not to delete and that's it, you can just stop it updates, but do not delete. Running MacOS 10.13.6. "Flash player installer" showed up unexpectedly today as active (bottom of screen): I right-clicked and closed it. I had NOT responded to a fake pop-up message or downloaded it (at least in recent memory) from Adobe or elsewhere. Finder info (Utilities folder) shows file created 11/24/2020, modified 12/8/20 8:04AM (probably when it was loaded), name and extension: "Adobe Flash Player Install Manager.app." Norton scan of file says "No threats found." Is this app legit (OK to use for product uninstall)? Adobe does not seem to provide phone or chat suport for Flash, since it's free and at end of life.

Hello Team, I am in IT compnay and my customer using lAdibe flex technology based application named as Fleet URL whihc is interfaced with SAP PM Module. Thsi application we used as URL. like we go to Google chrome bRwoser and used that URL and it opens Dashboard and it is using Flash player as well while opening the Dashboard. Hello, I am from Argentina and I work in a company where an intranet system is used where several "screens" are .SWF files programmed in Adobe Flex.I am aware that all Flash content will be blocked from browsers in 2021.If 2021 arrives and we cannot use our system, the company will have to close because it could not operate.I was looking for several solutions to this problem and one that I found was HARMAN Packaged Browser but the prices are too high and it would be impossible to pay them for this company.Therefore I want to know if, blocking all kinds of updates to Windows, Firefox, Flash and modifying the flash mms.cfg and putting my intranet application in my 'white list'. Can I continue using this system for a while longer, until can we do the migration? It's the only "solution" I have and I don't know what to do anymore.I clarify that I entered this company in August 2020 and was not aware that they had a system that used Flash or that Flash was going to let it work in 2021. In the past I have had no problems in seeing videos on my Lenovo Idea PC via Microsoft Edge. In the last couple of weeks the video images have disappeared when accessed to leave a green screen. I can hear the commentary linked to the video and see the time line but no images. I have come to realise this may have something to do with Adobe Flash embedded in Microsoft Edge being disabled - no longer supported. I may have subsequently uninstalled Adobe Flash but I'm not sure. Happy to speak to a specialist on the telephone and allow a specialist into my PC to see and hopefully resolve the issue. I got a pop-up on my Mac today that I thought was from Adobe, advising that I uninstall Flash Player ahead of it's support being ended in January. However, when I clicked the Uninstall button on the pop-up, it took me to a page that thanked me for using Flash, etc. but there was nothing to uninstall Flash with. The only other info on the page was about the features of Acrobat Reader, etc. Is this just an Adobe link error, or did I just click on a link that installed malware on my computer?

Hi, I'm looking for an offline installer for Flash Player ActiveX on windows 10. I have downloaded from this page https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html version 32.0.0.465 however when running on a windows 10 system the following message is displayd:"This Adobe Flash Player ActiveX Installer is only intended for Windows 7 and prior. Will Adobe continue to host the Flash player libraries on their server with no support at EOL or remove Flash from Adobe server completely?

Mac OS 10.15.07 CatalinaSeveral times a day I receive proposals to remove Flash Player.  When initiating this, I' asked to close some open applications.  When doing so, this message follows: "removal of Flash Player has been cancelled".  Same result when I close all applications before I initiate the removal procedure. 

Last night I received a pop up from Adobe on my MacBook Air saying I needed to uninstall Flash. Because I was in the middle of a project, I clicked on the "remind me later" button and it took me to a page of instructions stating that I would receive that notification again or I could go through the steps supplied in that note. In this world of malware and fishing, I didn't want to do anything without first verifying with Adobe this was a valid notifcation from Adobe. If that's true, will Adobe really be sending out another popup with the link for me to uninstall Flash? Thanks,Mary

So I was prompted the other day to update Flash player. Everything looked just as it normally does so I continued to download and install the update to flash, however, after downloaded in noticed something that cause me concern. It had to do with the URL: https://get3.adobe.com/flashplayer/update/ppapiosx/ The little "3" after "get" didn't look familiar. What I need to know is if this is a legit link? If not I need to search for this rouge app and delete it, if at all possible Here is an image of the file in question..
