I want to test whether my flash games will still work in 2021 on my local isolated machine (it uses an older version of flash) by changing the time forward and my question is if the killswitch happens while my time is in 2021 will it revert to allow flash if I change it back to somewhere in 2020? I only have a couple hours left to test this so a quick answer would be much appreciated 🙂
I am not computer savvy and have had my laptop since 2011. It runs on Windows 7 and works well for me. I just had a pop-up notice that Adobe Flash will no longer be available for use after December 2020. I have many PDF's, etc. that I currently use Adobe Flash to open. What do I do to ensure I will still have use of my files. Are there any other FREE programs that will solve my problem. This is time sensitive and I am a senior on limited income and unable to purchase a program. Please advise me of my options. Thank you.
Did Adobe "bake-in" a "time bomb" to Flash Player to cause it to stop functioning post end-of-life date independent of any other factors? The resource provided by Adobe:https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.htmlI am struggling to determine whether a product which is dependent-upon Flash Player and hosted on a company's internal server will continue to function post end-of-life date if no changes are made. Changes that would NOT occur would include:* Updates to the OS* Updates to Flash Player.* Updates to the Browser(s) In a nut-shell:Did Adobe "bake-in" a "time bomb" to Flash Player to cause it to stop functioning post end-of-life date independent of any other factors?
How does a compputer user using an AVAST linked Browser get rid of baggage that loads up on a Dell computer licensed by Microsoft & Windows 7 O.S.?
I am DESPERATELY trying to uninstall Flash Player, as it is interfering with my ability to add attachments to emails (and other issues, as well.) I have downloaded the uninstaller ... but it is asking for a password to do so. I put in my Adobe password and it won't accept it. So, I tried my Apple password and it won't work either. How do I get rid of this terrible program???? Thanks!
I need Flash for work. I use Chrome. Today it was just gone off of my computer. So I installed Flash. It shows up under my apps, but does not show up in my programs. So I can uninstall it, but I can't click on the program to get any information. It is not showing up in site settings and Chrome/my computer is not recognizing that I have Flash on my computer. I need help. This is not only driving me crazy, but costing me money because I can't work without it. Chrome is supposed to have flash built in. My Chrome is current, and updates are up to date. Don't know what else to do. Susan

Hi,as Ministry of Education of Greece we maintain a repository of learning objects (for elementary education) in the url --> http://photodentro.edu.gr/aggregator/. Our potential users are all Greek Citizens. The whole content is OER (Open Educational Resources) with Creative Common Licensed. Some hundreds of objects on the above site are based on Adobe Flash Player. As we can guarantee for these objects being virus-free , we try to find a recommended pattern so our users can continue using them even after Flash Player's eol.Could we recommend in the above site the download and install of flashplayer beta (https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html) ? Alternatively , as to our understanding, depending on user's OS they may face some issues with standalone installations, is there as a waorkaround an option for massive transformation of ALL flash objects to a (for example) .exe version?
I'm running iMac OS Mojave system. I've been using Chrome browser exclusively, but was having issues with it a few days ago, so I used Mozilla for the day. When I turned on my computer this morning, I was surprised to see the Flash Uninstaller app in my dock. I'm curious to know if it is automatically installed through Mozilla or if this is a look alike adobe scam. Is this software safe to use? I'm not tech savvy and don't want to place any unwanted virus's on my computer. Attached is a screenshot of the window that shows up to uninstall. Thanks for any help.
I just wanted to know one thing, why did Adobe Flash Player no longer support Google Chrome ??? why????
When I go to use my flash player in Firefox on my mac, I am unable to "find my camera" but my camera works for all other applications. It also picks up my microphone as well. My camera is built into my laptop. Any suggestions?
I am a student who was given a chromebook from my school district with flash installed on it and I was wondering if flash ending support for most devices would effect me? Most things I read only talk about windows devices which I do not own so if someone could clear this up for me I would appreciate it, thank you.

I am not technically compitent with all computer products. I understand Flash does something with graphics (is that all?). What happens if I am on a site that requires this - is there an alternative I should be using? Thanks.

We are in a race to cocnvert the last of our FLEX/FLASH projects and now we can't get a stable debugging environment. The latest version of the FLASH debugger is not working for Firefox and variable can't be read in the Chrome version. We have seen this before and went back to old versions of the debugger but Adobe killed the page. Why the hell would they now wait until 12/31 to kill it. We need this to setup two machines to get client applications off of FLASH and into Angular. Anyone have these old versions archived. Can Adobe open the page until Dec 31?
Hi all,In light of Flash Player shutting down at the end of the year I'm trying to save some games from a site I used to play when I was a kid as .swf files while the option still exists to me. I have a Firefox extension which allows me to save swf files and I have pulled a few games from the site, but I can't seem to figure out a way to execute the content. I downloaded the Flash Projector from Adobe's site but when I try to open the file, I just get a blank white page and a request for the file to communicate with the site, which feels kind of self-defeating as the games will likely no longer be accessible. In any case, no matter what setting I choose, it doesn't load the game. Each time I start the projector, I get the same prompt, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. As well, if I try to run the Projector as an admin, I get an error message: "Windows cannot access the specified path, device, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." if
Relatively new to CF. I've been supporting a CF app for almost 2 years and it uses cffileupload. We just moved to CF2018. the main browser we recommend is Chrome and with support for flash going away this month (Dec 2020), will cffileupload still work? if not, any suggestions to replace it? thanks,
Hi everyone, I have a MacBook with a Safari browser. I got a pop-up from Adobe this morning, 12/1/20, saying that Adobe was discontinuing support for their Flash software. There was a button on the pop-up to uninstall but I didn't click on it because I've had aggressive hackers try to use a fake Adobe pop-up to try and take control of my computer. Right now, Safari (my Mac browser) deactivated the program and it's in storage on the computer and not being used. I got rid of the pop-up and went directly to the Adobe site to confirm that yes, Adobe was discontinuing support for Flash as of 12/31/2020. If I do nothing, and do not uninstall the Flash program, I think it would just remain in storage and there wouldn't be any issues, but I'm not sure. On the other hand, is there a place on the Adobe website where I may legitimately uninstall Adobe Flash? This maybe an easier issue to deal with than I realize at the moment. Thanks for your help. Hello, as a developer, I still have many things that I need to keep and run for flash for future reference. I would like to know if the flash player debugger would get blocked after 2020 even if I install it locally now. I understand that flash air might work, but I would not like to do it that way. So, would flash player debugger also get blocked?

I am not given to being kind and respectful when faced with naked betrayal. So if you have to bleep me, have at it. So the deal is that Flash Player performed a more or less automatic function for us in enabling video and audio iles to open and portray on our systems, yes? And they're are (or have already, depending on what OS you are using) ending it in just over a month. There is no follow-on from you, or, if I catch your drift, anybody else. If there is . . . why not tell us so? It's no skin off your nose. You're out. Had your product really become utterly superfluous? Or are you, so to speak, just dumping us in the grease with a hearty "SEE YA!**" shouted over your departing shoulder. The idea that what was viewed as an essential product has been superceded, altogether, by native OS programming that will "just happen" , seems fanciful indeed. Guess who's products I will summarily S*** Can (and quit pay
