Flash Player (read-only)

Okay, first and foremost, I have scoured the internet for this specific issue, and every post I have found (this forum included) addresses something related but not exactly like what I'm dealing with. So here goes.I'm experiencing slight 'blips' in sound when playing streaming media. I notice this mostly on youtube, but it occurs on other streaming platforms such as bandcamp, facebook, etc. as well. The 'blip' is usually very short, and it's not necessarily scratchy, or static-y. It just sounds like a slight distortion in sound. They're fairly frequent, although not frequent enough to make the streaming audio completely unrecognizable. Just enough to be incredibly irritating. By the way, this only happens when I'm visiting my brother at his apartment, where he lives with three other people, and has a slightly slower internet connection than I do. I use Windows 8 and have Google Chrome.I've noticed that I have Adobe Flash Player, but only "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ 46.0.2490.80 \ Pepper Flash \ pepflashplayer.dll".I know that I have repeatedly Adobe Flash Player installed but have only this version.I have also already uninstalled Chrome, but nothing helped. There is no Adobe Flash Player on my computer, a 2009 Mac with OS X10.11. Trying to install it now, the installation doesn't even properly start and immediately shuts down with the message  "Install of Adobe flash "unexpectedly shut down"" (it's in german). The same happens with the installation of Acrobat Reader. I really have no clue what else I can do different. I would be grateful for some advice on how to proceed. Thanks.

Hello . My name and Rafaela . Use windows XP and Mozilla fox browser . I'm installation problem. When I click the installer nothing happens.

My Flash is the not up-to-date version, although my Chromebook is up-to-date.  My Flash is version is 19.0.0.225 while it should be 19.0.0.226.  When I try to download the newest version the download center of Adobe says it My Chromebook has the latest version.  I play games etc because the Flash keep stopping and giving me the Flash isn't responding sign.  I have clear adobe cache, my cache, and made sure the plugin is always allowed to run.  I have only only Flash plugin installed.  I have troubled-shot the hell out of this for the last 6 weeks and I saw the following problems this morning below in the screen shots...but Chromebook and Adobe says everything is up-to-date.  Any ideas?Austin

Windows 8.1, Shockwave Flash Player Version 10.0.2.54 and Shockwave Flash Player Version 19.0.0.226 does not function properly. I am using it on 3Point5.com site (Experticity.com) and Player does not present viewing and no alert or error message.The w 8.1 is 64bit, the first shockwave version is 32bit I think and the second is 32 or 64bit. Might be the problem.Also have AIR version 18.0 loaded.3Point5.com and Flash Player worked fine before grandson uninstalled Flash Player.I am leaning to uninstalling all Adobe products and reinstalling only Flash Player version 19.0.0.226.What else can/should I do?Regards,Mike

Hi,I need to find solution for processing of ActionScript3 bytecode.Adobe Flash player is using AVM2 virtual machine to process it.But I didn't find anything about AVM2 availability.Is there option to get AVM2 for development under Adobe license of course?Actually there are free and unsupported alternatives like to AVMPlus, Lightspark and Shumway.However I'm looking for supported solution, hope someone will help me.Best Regards,Ze'ev

After updating both Firefox to version 41.0.2 and Flash Player to 19.0.0.226 onlineflashgames, e.g. herehttp://stronghold-world.forumo.de/arcade.php?mode=play&g=57 no longer work. All onlinegames of that forum can´t detect Flashplayer in my browser any more and state that they need at least Flash Player 8 to work. The Flashplayer test page https://helpx.adobe.com/de/flash-player.html however states that version 19.0.0.226 installed and works fine. Before the update I was using the last version of Flashplayer from the 18 series and Firefox 41.0.1 and those games worked fine.Edit: I already tried to empty the cache of Firefox and to reload the games page but nothing changed. OS is Windows XP 32bit

Win 7 PC with IE browser. I have installed and uninstalled Flash multiple times and cannot get it to work. The Adobe website https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html states: "Sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled. Please go to step 2". Step 2 is a download link, which I have used multiple times. "Manage Add-ons" indicates, after each download, that Flash is installed and enabled. Yet, virtually every webpage I pull up results in a message box stating "This webpage wants to run the following add-on: Adobe flash player from Adobe systems incorporated". Websites that require the use of Flash tell me that I need this plug in, even though it is installed.I have downloaded the plug-in from multiple Adobe webpages, all with the same result. And I have verified that Active X filtering is turned off.

I've been trying to download Flash Player for a few day on my laptop. I finally get it to tell me it has been dowloaded but it's nowhere on my laptop. I've tried different browsers and get the same results‌

I am having problems with adobe flash player in ie 11 windows 8.1 64 bit it said it was out of date on a website and I get a lot of errors

I'm running Win8.0, Firefox 34.0.5. I have NO options presented when I select upgrade - I get a 'save' option for the download, after which I have to go to the Download folder, selec & run the .exe file, which installs BOTH the Flash player upgrade AND McAfee software. I DO NOT want McAfee, and immediately uninstall it. How can I prevent its installation? Thanks!
