Flash Player (read-only)

Since updating to Safari 9.0 (yosemite) when i clear cache and history, Flash player preference pane resets from block everything to allow everything.  How to fix?

I have a problem that started a few days ago without me making any changes to my ASUS laptop running Win 8.1. When using Chrome (version 46.0.2490.71 m) with the most current embeded flash player (19.0.0.207), when i try to use my webcam, the names of the cams are blank. this is the same for the microhone. before i could switch between built in cam & plug in external no problem. My guess is it has something to do with the PPAPI/NPAPI thing i dont really understand, but i do notice in my chorme plug ins is says PPAPI is out of process. My cams & flash player work perfectly fine with IE. Ive tried uninstalling & re-installing both chrome & flash with the same results. i have actually d/l a newer version of flash player that is PPAPI (19.0.0.219) but i cant get chrome to recognize or use it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello i've recently started having an issue just with the chrome browser with my webcam and microphone settings.I get the following issue http://i.imgur.com/pphFzZV.png I've tried re installing chrome and updating flash and neither have worked. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Is there a script to remove flash player until the vulnerabilities are patched?

Against my better judgment rather then continuing to ignore the vulnerability messages from Firefox I decided to upgrade from Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0 to Shockwave Flash 19.0.0.207 I wish I never did. Before Flash played .swf files beautifully inside Firefox with no problems the only reason I upgraded when to get firefox to stop making confirm the plugin's use on EVERY SINGLE webpage. When updated to Flash 19 I reloaded firefox and was puzzle to see both versions listed. I went to play my .swf file but it kept asking me to select a program to run it.When I went into options I saw two files for SWF one was SWF (application/octetstream) and the other was SWF (application/x-shockwave-flash) both were listed as Always Ask so I set SWF (application/x-shockwave-flash) to use the Shockwave plugin since it was listed in the drop down menu but when I went to set SWF (application/octetstream) to use the plugin as well there was no options for it and no way to set it as such. Ever since the release of Flash Player 19.0.0.185 we have not been able to install on our Windows Server 2008r2 without hanging at the "Windows Installer Coordinator" dialog box.   I've found somewhat of a fix for this with Microsoft's KB2655192(https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2655192). "During the installation of any MSI package that uses the MsiEmbeddedChainer Table it will fail to install on Windows 2008 R2 when Remote Desktop Session Host Windows Installer RDS Compatibility is enabled. It fails because of an endless loop where the dialog box “Windows Installer Coordinator” is displayed."However,  the resolution posted isn't realistic for the amount of servers that we have.  My question is,  why did this just start with Flash 19.0.0.185?   (its still happening with 207)  Has anyone come up with a better resolution?

I have a programme that worked great with the 15version ( adobe player ) but my computer automatically updated it so now i got a 19 version and my programme shows this message <<my error message exactly is flash player 10 or higher for internet explorer is required to run (name of the programme) would you like to go to a web page to download it now? >> At first i said yes (i already had 19 version) so nothing changed....the same message keeps poping up and my programme does not work  ... I got an exe 15version but it sends me to adobe player newest version....I need exe version 15 without sending me to 19version....Can anyone help??
