Frustrated! Repeated attempts to install FlashPlayer on my MacBookPro running OS 10.10.5 and Safari 9.0 have failed. The Installer begins but stops just after the 50% point. How do I make it work?

I have Windows 10 as of this past August and I have updated flash player to the latest version, v19. A little more than a week ago I started having problems with flash player and I was getting an error saying "Shockwave Flashplayer is either busy or nonresponsive..." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a bunch of times, tried different versions and configurations like putting npapi on chrome while disabling ppapi, and even had my computer checked for viruses, malware, spyware, etc. I got the error message to go away and I've had limited success being able to play videos and use other flash required websites, such as pandora radio, and that lasted 36 hours at most and less time than that other times. Now npapi has disappeared from my chrome plugins page and when I try using ppapi, the "flash player has stopped working" message comes up and there is nothing else I can think of to get it working. So I am left still unable to play videos on any website and I can't listen to music on pand
I'm on a laptopWindows 10Using the Microsoft edge browserWhen I select to stream/watch anything on xfinity(watching channels online)All it keeps saying is that I don't have flash player and I need to install it(but that's impossible because a flash player is build into the Edge browser) so wtf?. I have been on the phone and have been remote linked with a Microsoft tech and he worked on my device for an hour and in the end, all he said was to get ahold of adobe and figure out which flash player to install. He sent me to the contacts page for this site but Adobe doesn't have anybody to talk to and this forum seems to be my last hope. Every time I try to search for troubleshooting this issue, I get forum discussions from years ago. All I know is if a Mircrosoft person can't figure this out, how am I suppost to? Seems like there's an easy solution to this, so if somebody could point me in the right direction, that would be great.HELP!!!
I have about 350 remote computers around the country that I have to administer via SSH only, so I'm looking for a Command Line way to determine the version number of Flash Player on a computer. Any simple commands to get this? Or via Reg Query?Thank you,

I searched for a question similar to mine and did not find one. My apologies in advance if this has already been discussed.I am planning to move my websites to Weebly from Homestead. The Weebly editor currently has elements which use Adobe Flash Player. When I view the Weeby editor in Firefox, some of the screen content doesn't display correct. I was told to enable Adobe Flash in Firefox, which I did. I still cannot see the screen as it is intended and I have been told by Weebly that I must have an ad-on or plugin which is creating a conflict.I honestly do not know enough about this subject to determine the source of my conflict with Flash Player. I appreciate any input on this.I
Hi,For about a week or so, but I'm assuming this has been going on longer, I've been trying to stream on Hulu (using the Firefox that came out yesterday and the one from last week) and I keep getting an error message. The network ads play normally but when it goes to play the show it blanks out and the screen says "One time loading for better viewing experience" and then doesn't play the video at all. The screen then changes to this: I've gone through this entire list several times. It is not the second or third option I'm having issues with. I opened the terminal to see if I had the HAL package and my computer doesn't recognize it and tells me it doesn't exist but there is a similar thing but can't find or install it. I tried the suggested sudo apt-get install hal and sudo apt-get check hal to build a dependency tree, which succeeded but it wouldn't install and still said it wasn't there. I have the flash version 11.2.202.521 for Ubuntu, which is no longer being updated by Adobe. I tr
Clicked on downloaded Flash Player update and it prompts me to enter my password for Adobe. I did and it would not take it. I went to my Adobe account, reset my password and tried again. It still won't take my password. Any ideas to fix this? Also, could I delete my adobe account and start again? Can't figure out on their website how to do this. Thx. Jan
Greetings -When will Flash start supporting high resolution displays? We use Adobe Connect A LOT and our VP has a Lenovo Yoga 2 hybrid laptop (http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/yoga-laptop-series/yoga-laptop-2-pro/) that has a high resolution display (some 3,000+ pixels). To date, he can NOT use Adobe Connect because it won't read and recognize the high resolution display he has and scale the room and text accordingly, so all the menus, text, note, chat pods, etc. all show up as super small text that's practically unusable/unreadable. We've inquired with both Lenovo support and Adobe Connect support about the issue over the years and to date everyone is blaming the other party. What it seems to boil down to is Flash - since Connect runs on and uses Flash a lot, how and when can we get support for high resolution displays incorporated?(as in the text is too small!)Best,- Rick
I'm following the instructions on Adobe's website to optimize adobe flash player for safari. After you make some choice in preferences on you mac, it then says choose Adobe Flash Player to make some other changes. Choose it from where? I can't find it as an app in my hard drive.
I do not have Windows on my new ACER Aspire laptop. It is only 4 months old. Can I download Adobe Flash Player without Windows? If so, what do I do? Thank you in advance for your help.
Initially I had Microsoft Office 2010 64 bit installed. The Powerpoint 2010 allowed me to embed SWF files with white background (without linking the file). I had to change office to 32-bit due to Outlook issues, the 32 bit PowerPoint 2010 will allow me to link the SWF file (cannot embed) and save, but when I try to reopen the PPT folder it asks to repair the file which changes the SWF link to a single image. Have retried my link on my colleagues computer running similar to what I had originally (64 bit office) and this has the same issues I am now encountering on the 32 bit PowerPoint 2010.Is this due to an Office or PowerPoint update?Cannot understand why this has suddnely changed.
I am using a mac. How do I delete the "recently played" items list that is in the left hand column whenever I open a new video?
I have windows 8.1 (recently downloaded windows 10 but removed and went back to version 😎 About 2 days later, I keep getting a pop up when playing an online game says "about adobe flash player" If I click it it takes me to the adobe page.. I have checked my version of adobe, it is correct... I have disabled active x and went to the manage add on's shockwave is there and enabled. This pop up keeps appearing, as well as randomly freezing up screen (like now it keeps stopping me from typing, the cursor freezes, then jumps backwards into middle of previous words, then box comes saying undo or select all) Also randomly flipping screens, like just now flipped to my mail screen then explorer msn screen then to my app view screen... something crazy is going on... if anyone has encountered this and can please help, it would be appreciated.
Hi,Since a time ago with Windows 7, I couldn't update Flash Player (for both Chrome and Firefox) because of an error message saying "cannot continue because another flash player install or uninstall instance is active". With the update of Win 7 to Win 10 I believed that it would get fixed. But the error keep appearing. I could successfully update flash player to version 18 with standalone installers, but again, with the update to 19 I have the same error message. With such apps like Task Manager and Process Explorer I could never find any instance of any installer running, so, I guess that it could be a Register entry that is not deleted. Or perhaps it's another thing.I was looking for in this forum and others but couldn' find a suitable answer.I hope you can help me (and forgive my english).Thank you in advance.
Since installing the new El Capitan IOX, web-based webcams cannot be played due to the PPAPI Plug In being omitted. I have downloaded it three times and fully uninstalled and reinstalled ABODE Flash Player to find that plug-in still missing and unable to operate correctly. Can Adobe please help in this regard?
My laptop is Windows 10 but my videos are showing green and all of the above solutions not working wit my laptop.
Words cannot express how disgusted I am, so here is the facts: Flash not working on Win 7 Desktop, (even thought it is loaded, version 19). It does work on my Win laptop after I turned off Active X. I have read everything (I think) to try to get help. Turn off and on Active X, updated Java, turned off my virus and internet security (AVG) - even read that was a problem. But, this is not a problem on my win 7 laptop. Also, I have re-booted every time I make a change. I am fairly tech smart. I have uninstalled (even with Revo), and re-installed. Is there anything else to try to get this work or should I just give up and tell everyone Adobe Flash is so inconsistent and I have no answers. I am President of a computer club and in a senior development in Florida. I talk to a lot of seniors and everyone is so frustrated with Adobe Flash player. This really gives YOU a bad name. And, this is so sad - because senior re
