Flash Player (read-only)

Hi, I have a Mac running 10.11.6When I try to install Flash Player, It says "You need to uninstall before you cont..."   Ummmm???I tried everything I can think of:-Restarting-Re downloading-Quitting ALL other programs-Pulled my hair out with frustrationWhat can I do to fix this issue?Thanks! -diodes123

I have imported the Flash Player catalog into WSUS and added the latest version of Flash Player 31. Machines that already have an older version of Flash Player installed are offered the new version via WSUS, however machines that do not have Flash Player installed full stop are not offered the new version.I think there is a problem with your installable/installed rules in that they are assuming the relevant registry key exists instead of checking if the key exists first followed by the value it contains.Can you amend your rules please so that installations which do not have Flash Player installed are offered the software? Hi everyomei have windows 7, and trying to download flash player, that i think i might have uninstalled a while ago by mistake.when i click on download, it opens up the exe. file, and when i run it, it opens up a BLACK flash player manager window..i tired few things, but to no avail.can you help?thanks

HiI have been driven nuts trying all of the suggested avenues to get flash running as per the forums and official flash protocols for fixing and none have worked. I cannot run flash in Edge, Chrome, Opera and Firefox all of which are on my windows 10 based machines. Yet when I tried to run the same in chrome on a mac and this worked perfectly. I am bemused as to why and can only think that some windows based update has interfered with flash rather than this being a browser issue or there is a settign in windows that needs adjusting,I should mention I did try on a slower older machine and that worked, though that was running older versions and did not have bit defender. It may be a result of bit defender but i did try to disable the firewall and protection and reloaded and still not had any success Any advice on this pleaseJonathan

I have a bit over 2,000 new macOS devices and with the Adobe multipart click to download etc. it's impossible to automate Flash Installation.Is it possible to get/license a simple full DMG installer without the click to download bloatware?Greg

Is there a good reason as to why the text on my page to download, yet another, Adobe Flash Player update is in Russian? Or is it the same reason why you try to keep installing that McAfee crap on my computer?

I have a Mac OS 10.13.6 with Safari 12.0.1. I'm trying to install the latest version of Flash Player. I open the app "Install Adobe Flash Player," check the box that I have read the License Agreement, click "Install," provide my computer's password, and click on "Install Helper," get the the bar that shows it's being installed, then it jumps from about 21% to the message "Installation of Flash Player 31.0 is complete." At the bottom left is the message "Please restart your browser" and at the bottom right is the "Done" button, so I click on "Done," restart Safari, wondering what's supposed to happen next. I then discover that Flash Player has not, in fact, been installed. I have repeated this series of steps umpteen times, and sometimes get a a "Step Three" that says "Thank you," as if it's done, but then asks me to sign up for a free month at the end of which I will be automatically billed $30 a month. Hello,I can't listen to my favorite online radio station for the last couple of weeks. I tried everything suggested, nothing works. When I click on the Players button it changes from Pause to Play and freezes there until F5-refresed. Never any sound out. Funny that in my Opera53 browser sometimes it works after couple of refreshes but intermittently and rarely.My technical info: I use three browsers: mostly my old Opera 12.17, but also the latest Mozilla Firefox and Opera (54) under Win 7 Pro 64-bit, with all the latest updates. Opera 12 and Firefox use NPAPI, Opera54 PPAPI, versions 31.0.0.122,  both don't work the same way. Tried to uninstall and reinstall both the latest N- and P-papi player versions, flashed cache, etc. - nothing helps and changes. I have tried to download Adobe Flash (version FP 31 for Opera and Chromium - PPAPI) on my Windows 10 laptop, and the installer works and says that it has downloaded Flash Player, but when I look for it in my apps, I cannot find it, and the plugins still don't work so I assume it hasn't actually been downloaded. Not sure what to do now, I have a similar problem where Adobe Shockwave won't download either although the installer says that it has been installed.

I just did the recommended update for Adobe Flash and it forced an installation of McAfee. I got zero option to choose NOT to install McAfee. Since we run Norton, I now get the privilege *koff* of chasing down the McAfee installation and cleaning it out.  Seriously, Adobe, do better.

Hello,I recently updated the flash player for the recent version "31.0.0.122". However, every time I open a game page on Facebook it says its having issues. When I checked the "chrome://components/" it says that it hasn't been updated.Tried uninstalling and installing it again. Activating and de-activating on Chrome's settings and it still doesn't work.And I can not find any answers either on the Adobe help page or the Chrome page - since I tried everything they suggested.I have a Macbook Pro from 2012 and I'm currently using the macOS Sierra 10.12.6.Please help! when installing Flash player step 3 shows mozilla with a stop sign. Also notice given from fire fox that it no longer supports certain apps from adobe with the exception of flash player but installation still doesn't allow as per above

I recently purchased an Acer Nitro touchscreen tablet/laptop computer. However, whenever I use anything in Adobe Flash with the touchscreen, it detects the cursor a few inches above where I'm actually clicking. Zooming out reduces the distance, but then buttons may become too small for me to read. My computer has been doing this since the beginning. Recently, as of posting this, it has started doing the same with my Huion H610 pen tablet. It had been perfectly calibrated prior to today. As far as I can tell, Chrome and Flash are both up to date, and no new updates have been released in the past few days. What is the root of the problem, and how do I rectify this?Update: When in Firefox, my tablets are perfectly aligned with Flash, but my clicks will occasionally be interpreted as double clicks. I have Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (32-bit)  of Chrome and when i close chrome, flash settings vanish Its anoying. How to fix that?

on os x 10.6, i'm using an archived version of chrome, with built-in flash, but when i load a flash site, chrome often freezes.so i'm going to look for a better browser. (if you can recommend one, please do!)for flash, i downloaded the version:10.3.183.90but many sites block it because it's outdated.so what is the latest version i could run on os x 10.6?also, is it the same for os x10.8? (i'm thinking of getting 10.8 UNofficially.)
