Hi All,In the document that I have received which has two paragraph tags, one Figure Caption 1 and another Figure Caption 2.Some figure are assigned Figure Caption 1 and some are assigned Figure Caption 2.How can I find all the Figure Caption 2 and convert them to Figure Caption 1???In Find, it has Paragraph Tag: (image below) but in Replace I do not have any adequate option.Thanks.

Hi AllWhen I generate help from FM12 using the Publish option for different languages, the meta data keywords having special characters get removed from the generated output.Example: Administração of Portuguese becomes Administrao in the generated html5 help output.Can anyone help me to resolve this.ThanksSharada

Hi,When i save a ditamap as Book 12.0 (*.book), Framemaker creates the nested structure (which is fine) and also creates logical folders for parent DITA topics.Problem: All the logical folders created have the folder names based on the Topic Title. For example: I have a ditamap as depicted below:Parent A (Getting Started)     Child A (Login to Product)     Child AA (Home Page)Parent B (Common App Feature)     Child B (Export)After Save as Book, I get the following:Getting Started (Logical Folder)     Child A     Child AACommon App Feature     Child BAs you can see, the Parent Topic is a logical folder with the topic title.  The child topics get the file name.Can Framemaker be configured so that i dont get the topic title in the Parent Logical Folder and even there i can get the file names. If yes, what must be done. Can you please guide me with this. We use FM12

The links to this series can be found on the FrameMaker Developer pages under webinars (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/framemaker.html) and by searching the on demand seminars.   There is a also a page on the original presenters blog (http://tmaldous.com/2013/02/20/7-part-e-seminar-series-unstructured-to-xml-framemaker-10-instructional-series/) that lists all seven webinars.  The problem is that only the link to Part 3 works from both pages, and the Developer pages is missing Part 7.  All the other parts have broken links.  I have tried searching the on demand seminars just now, and the only link that shows up is linking to Part 2, even though it has Part 3 in the title.  The event number differs to the event number for the same part on both pages above.We have found these types of webinars invaluable in assisting us with planing our move from unstructured to structured.  In particular we were looking to this series to help us work up to EDD creation.&nb

Hey, allI'm working in a structured document inI have an issue where I'm trying to add a dash character between SOME of the values in a TOC/index, but not ALL of them.One thought is to create a system variable in the EDD that I could insert into the TOC/index reference pages.  If there was a value in the variable, it would show up.  If not, it wouldn't. But I haven't been able to figure out if I CAN insert an EDD-created system variable in the reference pages of the TOC or index, or if there's special formatting I need to do to it. Any ideas? Hello,Very new to FrameMaker. I’m trying to publish a ditamap in Responsive HTML5 in FM 2015. When I do, the TOC is numbered (see image). The numbers don’t appear in a PDF file. Does anyone know how I can turn off this option? I can’t find it in the settings. I feel like there should be a simple solution.Thank you!

Hi,I am using FM12, unstructured. I would like to set the entire content of a chapter to a certain conditional text (by selecting all content and setting the condition).My problem is with tables. This action only sets the table as a frame, but does not set the table cell contents as conditional. Is there a simple way to do this without scripting?Thanks in advance,Hani

I need to translate a FM12 book that contains 32 chapters = 32 .fm files. Is there any possibility to save all 32 files as .mif files at one go?And: why does FM12 not remember the last directory I used for saving?Thx for your answersSabine

Certain (not all) EPS images in a book cause the following Distiller error:%%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: pdfmark; ErrorInfo: PUT nextImage ]%%After removing the images from the anchored frames the PDF can be generated again, so the error is quite surely tied to the images. Do you have any recommendations/experiences when working with EPS images?

When I try to create a table with four lines and two columns, it appears on the top of page 2 rather than page 1 where I want it. I cannot find a means to anchor it at the top of the first page. What am I doing wrong?Dennis....

Hi, I am working on a large document full of text inserts that cannot be resolved (evidently there used to be a separate collection document for re-used text lines). I would like to simply convert everything to plain editable text. However, when I select an insert and try to choose Edit -> Insert properties -> Convert to editable text then an error message is displayed because the target cannot be resolved.Any ideas ho to solve this?

Hi, I recently installed a trial version of FM2015.   Now I bought a license-key. Can You tell me how I can license the trial version?When I bought the full-version FM2015, I received a pdf_file with the license-key. I also got the information, that I should intall a new trial version of FM2015 and license it.That does not make sense to me. There must be a way to update my trial version of FM2015.?

I am using FrameMaker 2015. I want to make sure that only the first instance of every abbreviation/acronym is linked to the glossary. When I search it will skip over any abbreviation/acronym that I have already linked. How can I make FrameMaker recognize an abbreviation/acronym even if it is already linked?

I migrated to a new Mac. I have a Tech Comm suit installed on vFusion. It's giving me "serial number expired" error. I retried activation, but it doesn't work. 

I have a structured DITA 1.2 application. I created DTDs, EDDs, Rules, and template files for concept, task, reference, topic, and ditabase.These files are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker12\Structure\xml\DITA_1.2\app\technicalContent.I use the Save Ditamap as Book with FM Components option to get the book with TOC, frame file(s), Index, etc.The ditabase.template.fm used by the save ditamap process has graphic frames on the reference page for hazard message icons.This file resides in the location noted above and in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker12\Structure\xml\DITA\outputTemplates.After saving the ditamap as a book file with FM components, I do not see the graphic frames on the reference page in the frame file that is created via the save as process.Is there a setting in the ditafm-output.ini file (C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\12) that will allow them to come through?The original TemplateImportFlags was set to PGF|FONT|PAG
