Mono and Stereo audio tracksOpen for Voting

Hi everybody.I think the whole mono to stereo is a mess in premiere pro.If I look at Protools for example, there is clearly a difference between a mono and a stereo track. And, if you take two mono clips that you drag onto a stereo track, they'll fit in that stereo track and play stereo. And vice versa, if you take a stereo clip, on a stereo track, and you bring it over two mono tracks, they'll split and behave mono.Premiere is lacking this basic feature. Tracks are... I don't even know if they're mono or stereo. If you bring a stereo clip, it's stereo, if you bring a mono clip, it's mono. You can split a stereo clip by going into the audio attributes of the clip in the media bin, and make it play dual mono. But there's no way to take two mono clips (L and R side of a song for example), and make them behave like a stereo clip. In my case, I'm opening an AAF that has all the audio split out in mono, and now my whole session has a ton of mono clips, that I can't bring back to stereo. I've talk to customer support, and they assure me that this was not possible. So, would there be a way to make this happen? being able to take two mono clips, and dragging them into a stereo track, and vice versa? The fact that the split from stereo to mono has to be done at the clip level is ridiculous. That means that if you've forgotten to split your stereo track with 2 lavs from your camera before derushing for example, and you're now done after 2hours, and you want to split them... good luck, since changing them at the clip level won't affect the timeline. I've had to export an AAF, splitting it into mono, and reimport to solve that issue. Can the audio part of Premiere PRO actually be PRO?If splitting a stereo clip into two mono tracks can be done, why can't the other way be possible?Could there be a clear visual difference between a mono and stereo tracks, and then we can have the possibility of moving things around? Thanks!

Face refinement features like the FACETUNE app because its REALLY goodOpen for Voting

If you all haven't used the Facetune app, you're missing out. It's incredible. It can autotrack your footage and with just a few clicks do a great face refinement that includes a ton of stuff (Even more stuff than what DaVinci Resolve can do). It's really good. Adobe should just buy the FaceTune company and build it into Premiere. It seriously is a game changer. No masking/rotoing/tracking, or any other time consuming tasks. Seriously, it's a 10/10 for features and how well it works. It costs like $72/year though, so I canceled after the free trial. It blows my mind that Premiere isn't the leader in all of this. For the cost of Creative Cloud, Adobe should be the ones with all of these amazing features.PLEASE build into Premiere Pro quick-use features like the FaceTune app.Features that are a must from the Facetune app that are needed in Premiere (All of these auto-track and apply the effect with a slider bar for how much you want the effect):Smooth skin (Softens the skin on your face and evens it out to hide imperfections)Conceal (Blends in the areas under your eyes to hide wrinkles/bags)Vibrance (Adds vibrance only to the skin on your face)Glow (Adds a nice glow only to the skin on your face)Smile (Makes teeth whiter)Eyes (Can brighten, sharpen and increase the color of your eyes, as well as increase the white around the pupil.) Those are all MUSTS in premiere pro. They can be applied in literally seconds and auto track, it's amazing. You can then save the 'look' for future videos and apply it even faster with the settings you like. There are SOOO many other features like it can reshape parts of your face to your likely, change clothes, change hair, but those are honestly just bonuses. The list I mentioned above are the things that would be a massive help for video editors. Literally every client edit my production company does we spend HOURS on face refinement. It takes forever. I would rate this as an extremely important feature to have.

Feature Request: Run pipeline from previous node resultOpen for Voting

I’m new to Firefly, and I’m following along with the Adobe tutorial https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/tutorial-one-adobe/production/crpr7/ex1. I noticed that each time I added nodes to the pipeline, I had to re-run the entire thing. The first step is Remove Background from an image - I already know this works the first time I run it, so as I’m experimenting and iterating on building the pipeline I want, this step doesn’t need to re-run. Yet, it re-runs every time, wasting credits and time. What would be nice is if the output from previously-run nodes can be used for subsequent runs. In the Background Removal example, lets say I have a background replacement after that using Composite Images. I run the pipeline, and see that those nodes do the job correctly, but now I need some color correction, so I add an Auto Tone node before the final image output. I already know the background removal and composite nodes work, so instead of running them again, I would like to just run the pipeline from the Composite node and re-use those results. This would help during the process of building a pipeline out and experimenting with different nodes, inputs, prompts, and outputs - which is an important part of building a pipeline that works the way you need it to. IT would reduce the amount of time you have to wait to test changes to a pipeline, and also reduce the cost of generations where you already know that a step is working properly. I could see this experimentation process becoming costly and hindering users’ ability to successfully build complex pipelines with the current “re-run everything every time” workflow.
