Selecting multiple text assets on the timeline should show all of them at once in Properties panelOpen for Voting

Presently you can select a single graphic asset with multiple text layers in it and align, or move them all together. However, if you have multiple graphic assets (text) on the timeline, when you select all of them together you are unable to control them at once. What should happen is when you select multiple graphic assets (text) on the timeline, the Properties panel should fill up with all of the associated elements so that, in the Properties panel, then can be selected together and things like Align or Position would be taken into account. This currently works with the Appearance tab, but none of the other tabs. I know that this is more of a Premiere issue overall in which multiple video assets cannot be manipulated together, but the graphics assets already populate in the Properties panel, why can't they all be shown together? Thinking about this a la After Effects where multiple text layers can be selected together and manipulated as one. This is important for social media editors who are often stacking text layers so that they pop on one at a time. Right now the worst workaround is to cut a graphic layer instead of stacking so that multiple elements can be aligned, the problem being if you make one change you now have to propogate it to all other instances of that layer. Stacking elements is the best and most efficient way to do this, but it's a chore right now.

P: UX change import grid logicOpen for Voting

  1.  Current Behavior     1.1 Already imported photos (from device library → Lightroom)   Marked with an (Lr) icon in the import media grid. Prevents reimport and gives clarity.     1.2 Photos uploaded to Lightroom Cloud (but still present in iOS Photos / iCloud)   Not marked as “already available” in the import grid. App treats them as new import candidates even though they already exist in Lightroom Cloud. Leads to duplicate uploads and confusion.           2.  Problem     2.1 User confusion   Users can’t tell if a photo shown in the iOS import grid is:a) New and not yet in Lightroom Cloud,b) Already imported but not deleted locally.     2.2 Redundant uploads   Same file is reimported into Lightroom Cloud → wasted bandwidth and cloud storage.     2.3 Inefficient workflow   Users have no reliable orientation whether they can safely delete a photo from device storage because it’s already secured in Lightroom Cloud.           3.  Proposed Improvement     3.1 New status indicator   Introduce a semi-transparent cloud icon for assets that: Exist in Lightroom Cloud, Still remain on device (iOS Photos / iCloud), Have not yet been deleted locally.       3.2 Behavioral logic   Import grid checks both local iOS library and Lightroom Cloud catalog. If match is found (via file hash / metadata):→ Photo is marked with cloud icon, not reimported.     3.3 UX benefits   Users immediately recognize: (Lr) icon = imported from device into Lightroom (still only device-originated). Cloud icon = photo already secured in Lightroom Cloud (can be safely deleted locally if desired).             4.  Impact     4.1 Reduced duplicates   System skips uploads of already existing assets.     4.2 Better orientation   Clearer visual status on what’s in Lightroom vs. what still needs import.     4.3 Workflow efficiency   Users save time, bandwidth, and storage.

Add ScreenFlow-Style “Video Actions” for Fast, Eased Animations in PremiereOpen for Voting

ScreenFlow has a brilliantly simple animation system that would be a huge workflow improvement if adopted in Premiere Pro. Here’s how it works in ScreenFlow:Add a “Video Action” (like a transition in Premiere) to a clip.On one side of that action, the clip has its original properties (position, scale, rotation, etc.). On the other side, you adjust those properties to their new values. The software automatically interpolates between the two states over the action’s duration, with smooth easing built in.You can drag the ends of the action bar to make the animation faster or slower, reposition it on the clip, and choose between a set of custom ease-in and ease-out values for the interpolation. No keyframes. No graph editor. Just drop in an action, adjust the transform properties, and ScreenFlow handles the animation. See it in action here. Why this would be a game-changer for Premiere Pro:Fast + intuitive: Premiere isn't set up for easy graph editor work. It would be great for editors who don’t want to be motion designers, or motion designers who want to do more of their work in Premiere.Clean timeline: Animations are represented as clip-level blocks, not buried in effect controls.Polished motion every time: Preset easing interpolation (Sine, Cubic, Quad, Quart, etc.) ensures animations feel smooth without extra tweaking and maintains consistency. This would make everyday animations like zooms, pans, and repositioning so much faster to create in Premiere. I am constantly adding push-ins on screen recordings in my tutorials, or transitioning between full-screen camera to picture-in-picture view. My current setup involves using a custom MOGRT that gets the job done, but it is a much more complicated process than it should be for such a simple task, and it doesn't give me any control over timing or easing. This "Video Action" concept lowers the barrier for beginners, speeds up workflows for pros, and brings a level of polish by default that Premiere currently requires a very manual setup to achieve. Thanks for reading!

Split Caption at Text Under PlayheadOpen for Voting

See this post for a no longer available UserVoice request. Can staff recover it? I do not find it or a similar one in a search. Is there already a request for what I am asking? https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/transcription-fixing-automated-errors/m-p/12367619#M366421   When a caption is split in the Timeline, the timecodes are split by the playhead position in the timeline. This is correct and is the current behavior in 23.6 and Beta 24.1.0.21.   But the entire caption text is repeated in each of the new segments. There was much discussion about this in the Beta forum during development, and there are continuing requests for a different behavior. I don't think any users are advocating for the current behavior.   I recommend that the text be split so the beginning text through any word completed before the playhead position goes to the new, earlier caption segment and the rest of the text goes to the new later caption segment.   Note that this would not apply to operations in the Text Panel as currently set: a split in the Text Panel uses a timecode in the middle of the segment being split; it does not reference the playhead.   Also note there are different issues for split and merge and these may vary depending on whether we are talking about captions, source transcripts, or sequence transcripts. For example, see this post about the changed merge behavior: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/merge-captions-suddenly-gray-and-unlcikable/idc-p/13891108#M11033   Stan
